You're my favourite poster on here MKalways very reasonable.

Personally, I will be attending a lot fewer games and be a much more demanding fan.

If he gets us top 4 or wins the FA Cup/ champions league then I will be on board with him, until then I won't be behind him.

Not always reasonably mate, I was a emotional wreck last night even though I thought I wouldn’t be that upset with poch going last summer as I was fed up of hearing him talk.

I don’t get how levy can start a rebuild with poch and sack it off at a huge cost after 12 games but hey ho he’ll live or die by this decision.

I’m certainly not going to be easy on Mourinho and will no longer take the view about a project as I was with poch.

Levy has gone big and brave and now I will demand instant success from him and José.

Same, it was a really weird feeling, I've never been that invested/emotional over a club sacking or decision (yeah I was a bit annoyed with Hr being sacked and Jol) but with Poch I was totally devastated. It really hit me.

That said I won't dwell on it and I shall move on and support Jose.

"There is a school of thought that Mourinho's best work comes with underdog teams who have been starved of success: Chelsea had not won the title since 1955, Inter had not won a European Cup since 1965 and so on."

this is what im hanging on to. when it going arris over t1t i'll hunt levy

Gutted now Poch has gone

It's football. Nothing lasts forever. New chapter for the club, and we finally have a manager who's capable of bringing home silverware. Poch was tactically flawed, lost countless semis and cup games through poor game management.

Back José and the team. If it doesn't work out, then it's Levy/Enic out

Why wait?

They’re the toxic influence.

One thing people underestimate is how much people will start to hate your club because of him. Spurs have usually been a second team for many, but Mourinho’s crimes to football will not endear you to the neutral now.

Maybe so but that is no basis to make footballing decisions on.

I’d say crimes against football are a good basis to make footballing decisions on.

the whole likable thing usually means you are not threat to success and titles so easy to have a soft spot for, that is the very thing that needs to be changed.

SAF Utd played outstanding football and ridiculously decorated however they were equally hated.

Any club that has that level of success will be hated. But it would have been even worse if we played the sort of football Mourinho had us playing. We were pretty shiiiiiit under him and it made even more people hate us.

That was because we could all hear him chewing from the living room sofa as he argued for extra minutes.

Yeah but he makes the fans of his own club hate the team in the end also.

I wouldn’t wish Mourinho on anyone, to be honest. But I think he’ll do quite well for 18 months with your squad.

if we say win the CL then i would happily take the turmoil afterwards.

spurs are a completely different beast to Man U... if he comes in and wins 3 trophies in 2 years say, then it would be up there with the most successful period in our history......

Just gonna casually suggest us winning the CL ffs

Spurs win the CL.

Time will tell, I guess, whether a league cup is worth it. As a United fan none of it was. But I understand there’s a difference between our reflective mindsets.
