I wonder if Eddie Howe will be saying similar things about Jose this time next year
I appreciated that
Knowing jose it was probably pretty empty but it needed to be said
Jose's first press conference was twice as long as Poch's longest ever
Poch is on a yacht sunning it in the med, so dry your eyes out and move on
Poch has left us in an extremely good place. I am sure Jose will take us to the next level. We just need to back him and the team.
Only took a day but Sizzle is warming up to Jose.

Yeah, but on this occasion I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was genuine.
Think they got on ok.

Not yet I’m not.
Poch is a classy guy though and it is tough to get over him personally I think. I am not surprised Sizzle hasn't yet. It's still raw I guess.
Poch had to leave the club in a haste and couldn't even say goodbyes to the players, but as class as he is, he left them hastily written note that simply said
"Sorry we cannot come to say goodbye, you are always in our hearts."
What a legend!
A 0-0 this weekend against West Ham will herald the new era for Spurs and be a sign of things to come.

That was appalling treatment.
Thankfully he has class.
That snake Levy has none.
Apparently the ref for the West Ham game is none other than Michael O'Liverpool.
God help us
Oh puhlease!!!
We don't pay Oliver to fix midtable games FFS.

Yes, even worse, is that last week, Poch was told by Levy to step down. And it meant, Levy only made the decision to sack him at the last minute, after consulting Joe Lewis and probably telling him it would cost £12mill.
But Levy and Jose talks were on-going for almost a month...That means Levy was shown on TV watching the last few games, looking like he was behind the manager, but he was everything but that!
We honestly do not know the catalyst for Poch leaving.
Did Poch instigate it by previous discussions with Levy, or did Levy and the Board make the final decision..
Only thing certain is that discussions with Mourinho were held ahead of any announcement
And don’t forget Poch has dropped many hints about his future over the last 6-8 months, maybe he was thinking of leaving and Levy foresaw this and acted.

That wasn't clever of him to make it known, that he would've left after CL. I guess he talks from the heart.
No management whether football or otherwise, would forgive an employee making such remark, tbh
Levy got in quick when he thought José might be going to Arsenal.

Doubt it he would have gone to that lot. They are desperately average and at least, with Spurs, he's working with a CL finalists.
One thing is for sure, if Levy wanted to raise the profile of Spurs as he looks to tie up a stadium sponsor etc, the appointment of Mourinho has well and truly elevated us further on the world stage.
These last couple of days have been non stop Mourinho, which is all good for Levy, seeing his club in the news so much on a world scale. People (and potential sponsors) will sit up and take notice.
Love him or hate him, Mourinho is box office and lifts a clubs profile.
I am still gutted for Poch, but what is done is done and we have to go forward with Jose.
It will be interesting to see what happens, JM could win us a trophy, equally we could tread water or it could all fall apart.
The only way I will warm to Mourinho fully is if he wins us a trophy or gets us challenging for the league title.

At least he`s not doing the Pool game and gifting them another 3 points, although I`m sure there will be another pro Pool mug in charge at Selhurst Park.
Oliverpool is probably anti Mourinho though, being a Pool fan, so I won`t be surprised if he shafts us.

Billy.
Yeah and as soon as it was announced, people laughed because I stated the appointment was mainly a PR stunt by levy. As was the Amazon documentary. The circus is in town, let’s all hope the circus act knows what it’s doing this time.

Poch left like a firework from 5th November that only just went off and really badly and during the day when no-one was around. He must have got a lot of cash and Real Madrid lined up.
