It was a global crash and a different labour. I absolutely stand by what I said. Fact is you dont care about poor people suffering and kids living in poverty.

Which government will help ease that issue more? If you dont choose that then youre a bad person.

Ahh fack off Robbing, you're a complete waste of time.

I think Labour will make things worse in the long run for the poor, not better. Hence I'd never vote for them because I think we'd all end up suffering.

Why do people act like it's a marriage? Its four years.

4m kids in poverty and people dying. That's it.

Im not even saying vote Labour really, just don't vote Tory because if you do you are supporting a country that is purposely harming it's own citizens in the pursuit of wealth. Maybe you want to be part of that but dont get upset that you get called out on it. I dont make you not care about people.

Essentially, all Labour will do is make it worse in the long run. Happened in the 70s, happened in the 00s.

There is no evidence whatsoever in the last half century that their ideals are financially feasible.

So boom, we end up back in austerity yet again.

Austerity was a choice remember

There’s no money, who shall pay for this?

Atos are an IT provider right?

You really think that shouldn't be outsourced?!

Theyre the company that knowingly failed people on disability payments at the Governments behest so no I dont think that should be outsourced because it's morally bankrupt.

163 UK economists have publically backed Labour's proposals which suggests they are in fact (in part) financially feasible.

I get they're not perfect but if you're not wealthy, voting for the conservatives is madness.

Labour also did not cause the 2008 global financial crisis.

So what do you think should be done instead of renewing the atos contract? Genuine question.

You clearly know more than I do about it so enlighten me.

What the fack is it with people like you that think insulting people will get them on your side?! I've had a good debate with WWSPD on this forum and it's genuinely made me think again about what I might do next week, and then you come along and call me a piece of shiiiiit for not falling for what I feel are an untrustworthy party in Labour?

Fack you robbing, you're exactly what's wrong with the electorate in this country. Should be facking ashamed.

And the Tories have been doing such a stellar job since....

If they weren't in the pockets of the likes of Amazon, they'd at least of made an effort to revise corporation tax laws and in particular corporation tax avoidance.

"The UK is by far the world’s biggest enabler of corporate tax dodging, helping funnel hundreds of billions of dollars away from state coffers, according to an international investigation."

..."the Tax Justice Network found that the UK has “single-handedly” done the most to break down the global corporate tax system which loses an estimated $500bn (£395bn) to avoidance."

"The amount dodged globally each year is more than three times the NHS budget or roughly equivalent to the entire Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Belgium"

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/uk-corporate-tax-avoidance-havens-justice-network-dodging-a8933661.html

Instead they chose years of austerity and ruthlessly cut public spending across the board.

I actually agree with you here. I think the way we've allowed company's to avoid tax is shameful and is something we should sort out. I think 26% corporation tax is too high, and less than 20% is a fitting amount and that would work if everybody paid it. The problem is that they don't.

Again, I don't believe Labour are the answer and I fundamentally disagree with a party offering free broadband, free tuition fees and free everything else. People have no sense of value when everything is spoonfed to them by the government.

Here's my dilemma then as an undecided.

Tory party: Aside of everything else I despise Brexit, as somebody who took time to learn European languages and loves European culture and had the opportunity to live in France visa free, I want everybody to have that opportunity and I hate the way it's being taken away in this ridiculous vanity project.

Labour: I fundamentally disagree with free tuition frees, free broadband etc etc. As I mentioned why the hell should my taxes be increased (and they will) so I can buy for billionnaires to have free broadband and tuition fees? I hate a party that feels they can spend money better than I can and as somebody who uses the rail networks daily KEEP IT WELL AWAY FROM PUBLIC OWNERSHIP.

Lib Dem: I hate Brexit but the vote happened. You can't just revoke Article 50 and the bigoted attitude of the party towards leave voters (many of whom had valid reasons for voting the way they do) is disgraceful. I also don't see the realism in things like banning combustion engine cars. This will hit the poor harder than anybody else and that's ridiculous when there are so many bigger environmental problems worldwide that need to be fixed first.

The others are pointless frankly.

This, and the fact that me daring to question the Labour party leading to me being called skuuumm or a piece of shiiiiit as evidenced by Robbing just this afternoon is why I despise everything about politics in this country.

It's an utter facking mess.

Rant over.
