Brentford are team to watch for me, quietly sneaking up the table

Last five games they have only dropped 3 points compared to us and west brom who have dropped 4

You can definatly look at it and understand why the top two are starting to open a gap, but yeah I get Brentford.
Their next two games are Blackburn and Luton which they are more than capable of winning followed by a big game against Sheff Wed, they go into that close and a win there opens a gap between the pair of them.
I have them in the top 6 by Christmas
Oh, and they also have the joint best defense with a team who we all know has the best centreback pairing in the league...
It takes this long for the season to start ironing about. I’d be surprised if anyone outside that top 9 make the playoffs.

Exactly the same prediction here. Had us 3rd/4th. Brentford are flying one minute, dying the next. Preston always fall away, as do Bristol City. Its a good league and its taking shape nicely.
like were we are with a few games i think we should win coming up.
I expect WBA to drop points over next few games and think we will be top at Christmas
There will be a dark horse come through from the middle - too early to say who
If we can get a proven goal scorer up front in January, we win this league or the very least come second. Not really that bothered by West Brom or Fulham to be honest - more about our play in the last third.
We are the best team in the league.
Fulham look poor whenever I’ve seen them.
Filly expect us and WBA to start pulling away, we are the best two teams in the league by a long way imo
We already have a proven goal scorer. And we know our others can score.
What we often come up against is parked buses. That’s always difficult. If you watch other teams games you will see how much space there is - with the way we play we force the other team to close down and focus on small areas of the pitch
Which makes it difficult if you don’t have Barca standard players
I think we are doing Brilliantly
When we go up, then I will believe it !
Some interesting opinions.
Fulham have by far the best squad for me.
We're seriously lacking in the striker department. If we managed to get Dwight Gayle back in January it would be game over.
However, our attacking midfielders are outstanding and Periera is the best player in the league IMO.
Dark horse wise i'd pick out Bristol City (who we've got on Wednesday). They just need to turn draws into wins.
Gayle was only a late sub tonight. If you're going to depend on other team's little-used reserves, you've little ambition.

Gayle was only a late sub tonight. If you're going to depend on other team's little-used reserves, you've little ambition.

7 points clear of 3rd place after only 18 games. Nope, we're definitely not depending on Gayle!
On our current form with brilliant fast attacking play it looks as though there are only two teams heading for the automatic promotion places - Champions The Mighty Baggies, Runners Up, Leeds United although Leeds have a history of falling away as the season. progresses.
Without doubt, the Baggies are the best team in the Championship by a country mile.
