Winning the Premier League, a season consisting of 38 matches, is no fluke by the way. Leicester were the outstanding team that season, apart from one or two “hiccups” along the way.

No team wins that sort of competition by fluke.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a one off achievement that probably won't be repeated again for a very long time

It took a combination of many things including the decline of United, Arsenal and the intermittent bad year Chelsea used to have which was that year the Leicester side won it. Not forgetting the surprise element to the the success of it. The surprise element caught out many clubs. Ranieri's tactics of route 1 football helped too.

Good on Leicester to have achieved it, but it no way puts Leicester above the likes Arsenal or United in prestige.

I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned Spurs in prestige (early 1960s of course 😉).

It could, outside chance, be repeated this year.

funny thing is that you are a better team now than when you won it but will comfortably fall short of this season, probably beating your points total of that winning season.

I think you need to get an European co-efficient first before you can be considered as prestigious!

In all seriousness, though Spurs have Jose and not looking at Bodger...sorry Rodger!

Why would someone leave the 2nd best team in the country to play for a mid table team like Arsenal?

People like you often ignore key arguments. In this case, it's that football managers have egos. Usually huge ones.

Rodgers would look at Arsenal and think that HE could be the difference between their current position and them being a top side.

Personally I don't think he comes to Arsenal.. not sure we're even strongly after him to be honest, but still, discarding it as nonsense because Leicester are currently on a good run of form is stupid.
