Gabriele Marcotti said something interesting a couple of weeks back on Talkcrap..
He said that fans of other teams show prejudices when they are chatting stuff like scousers rob houses and are all on the dole. and stuff like that as been going on for years.
There is no need for in modern day society.. and footballers like Sinclair shouldn't be adding to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

stop being so precious. There's no prejudice in what he's saying. It's a 'banter' term and has been for ages.

Seems to me the whole country over there has become easily offended... You all need to "man up"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's been several letters and petitions sent to Talksport radio as we speak calling for Sinclair to be sacked.
This coming from the same people who defended Carragher when he spat on a child.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't Trevor Sinclair a convicted drink driver, who beat his wife up, racially abused a police officer, then proceeded to pi55 his pants when he got put into the back of a police car?
I would say he's lucky to have any kind of meaningful employment with a rap sheet like that. 🤔

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Compared to the average Scouse, that rap sheet ain't much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah, bless.

Pretty poor taste tbh - imagine Sinclair had had a few beers and probably won't be invited on as a pundit for a while.

Was he just bantering that police officer when he racially abused him?

Sinclair apologised and said he'll donate his pundit fee to a homeless charity which is a nice gesture.

At least he's acknowledged that using the term is wrong, something that I doubt some on this thread would do.
