Coach will have to strip the squad and rebuild, was always going to take time after Wenger and he left the squad in its worst state I've seen an arsenal squad. Apart from your two strikers theres nothing good about the squad.

Your squad is legitimately lower mid table bar your two strikers who probably shouldn't play in the same team and your keeper. Shocking times for Arsenal. If you get 8th this season you'd have done well.

The strikers are only decent when played centrally. They can't operate together
I said it a few days ago, it was stupid to get rid of Emery! He wasn’t going to last, we all knew it, but why the feck get rid of him now? I mean, maybe, maybe they have a replacement in mind (Allegri, Rafa?) but who is coming in and what funds would be available? We need some players being axed, so why not keep Emery to act as executioner... what a shambles this is.

Was getting too toxic for Emery but the board are to blame for not planning in advance. They should have started the process way before emery got the sack

If anyone offers 60+ for Auba, I'd sell. He is a great finisher but does fack all other than that. Playing with him anyone other than as the lone striker, is playing a man in defense. Add Ozil and suddenly we have 2 players who do fack all defensively. Put Laca at 9 and trust in Martinelli. Hoping Pepe comes good too next season and we get 2 midfielders and 2 CBs. This season is over guys. We will get knocked out of the cups and I say finish between 7th and 10th...if we are lucky.

To be fair to Emery, I’m not sure just how much of a day he got in transfers with Raul and Edu at the table. He was head coach, not manager

You had 72 million that you used on Pepe that could have bought a top CB and strong CM player to start building the spine of your side around. Emery should have been sacked for that.

No we did not. We paid what 12 mill for him upfront. Only reason we got him over Zaha. Palace wanted 60 million upfront...he is not worth that but also...we DID NOT have it.
I don't know....we give you our best defender....
