Am I reading too much into Ole mentioning Basketball? Ole comes off as a bit vapid at times, but I think he's pretty damned sly, and maybe not too happy with his "Star Player".

Real won't sanction a bid for him due to other costs related to the transfer. The only ones who might are Juventus. And they'll have to break their record by quite a bit.

Swap Pogba for someone with less ability but that actually gives a shiiit.
Pogba's potentially got everything, but compare him to Robbo and Keane and he isn't fit to lace their boots. He isn't fit to lace Scott McTomminays boots.
Sell him for whatever or swap him.

He's got his own car. Doesn't need anyone to drive him after his injury heals
Just give Pogba to Real for bale + 30m-50m. It seems that that's all Real have the budget form Whatever people say about Bale he still gives 100% on the pitch and will improve us significantly.
There are plenty of midfielders we can bring in for the 40-50m mark to replace Pogba.
