I’m nervous about the game on Tuesday - notably with the loss of Fabinho.

It is balls. Any objective fan can see there’s only one team winning the league this season. Liverpool fans are erring on the side of caution because they are scared of getting egg on their face. If City and Liverpool’s positions were reversed you’d be conceding the title.

Spurs were 10 points clear of 5th late in the season, and barely limped over the line by a point in the end. Lots can happen between now and May, although it would be the bottle job of all bottle jobs if Liverpool collapse now with such a big lead.
Look, its this simple.
City are class.
Leicester are in form and only have 1 game a week largely.
I can only see these teams dropping a few point away from home. Nobody is capable of taking too many points off either.
We have won 14 out of 15. Its astoundingly good. but its proper scrapping which is something that impresses rival fans, like when we were all impressed by Leicester scrapping out 3 or 4 1-0s after christmas that year.
IMO LFC need to do 3 things now.
1. win the next two against Bournemouth and watford.
2. come back from world club championship and do no worse than draw away to leicester.
3. PLay two much harder games in very quick succession. Wolves then sheff utd. those 6 points will be the key IMO.
LFC record is 8 wins, 1 draw, 6 wins.
IF we were say... 18-2-0 = 56 points off 20 games then its all but over. 18 games left and we could probably lose 5 games and win the thing.

As for fees..... we bought players off sales. its really that simple. We have shut down after a big summer that put 3 top class players in our team and bought nobody the year after and the coutinho money made it happen.
Its ridiculous to think we'd have been able to do it without selling coutinho for mad money and any club has a right to spend the windfall.
