Your better against teams who try to attack. Not so good when you have possession and have to break defences down.
That Dybala signing which almost happened during the summer would have helped us unlock those stubborn low blocks.
Most sensible people knew that whikst we clear the crap out, the season was always goingbto be like this.

Thankfully... I think it’s easier to source the players to start winning the easy games than vice versa...

Also nice to see Fred starting to resemble a footballer
Scotty has become vital tonisnplaykng well and winning. But we need to bring in more depth in that position to provide cover. A more traditional striker and creative AM/#10 will help with the lower teams
We deserved to win most of our games since we beat PSG away.
A common thread is more about us having key players available and finally settling into a system.

I dont know about Eriksson
Hes had a noticeable drop in performance since the 2nd half of last season and theres been a touch of Sanchez about him the way hes pouted and sulked for his move
It makes sense because against the top sides you play very deep and then hit them on the break. The pace you have upfront means you catch teams out. We couldn’t really get through your defence and lost a game we shouldn’t have done
Problem you have is you can only play that way against 5 or 6 teams
Would be really surprised if Eriksen arrived at any point. He's reportedly already turned down/was turned down by the club in the summer because he wanted to player for someone else. Would rather the club went after someone that genuinely wanted to play for us.

Black Starr lost the plot. Nothing to do with tactics. We just dominate most teams but against top sides we seem to get the right result for our performance.
