Weare, Mancini, RDD, what's your vision for a utopian UK?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We have a dream..........
That one day, the UK will be able to take charge of her laws once again and not be subject to the ECJ.
That one day, migrants will be judged according to the contents of their character and not the colour of their passports.
That one day, the £10bn sent to the EU annually will be spent on our social services, police, schools NHS.
That one day, UK fishermen/women will have priority access to UK waters.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's your thoughts on Putin? Give me three things you like and three things you dislike about him?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Likes:
He's a smart alpha male
He loves his country
Turned the Russian economy around in spite of sanctions

Dislikes
No democracy
Assasination fo State enemies
Annexation of Crimea

----------------------------------------------------------------------

"He loves his country" - primarily loves the ruling elite, which has enjoyed significant transfer of wealth during his time in power, and benefited from erosion of the rule of law and growing levels of corruption.

"Turned the Russian economy around in spite of sanctions" - the Russian economy grew mainly due to the oil boom of the early 2000s, when there were no sanctions. It has stagnated since then, partly due to sanctions and partly due to lower oil prices. What he hasn't done is create the conditions conducive to investment and innovation, meaning that the economy is still beholden to commodities (the wealth of which primarily benefits the oligarch class he belongs to). The economy isn't insulated against fluctuations in commodity prices. And the brain drain of smart Russians continues. The corruption, gangster capitalism, authoritarianism and lack of social mobility he presides over are terrible for economic development.

Brrxiters are fascist enablers, apologists, cowards, quislings and traitors.

I’m just grateful that most of our war dead are not here to witness this, they fought and died for a UNIFIED Europe and have had their memories betrayed by a load of people who can’t stand to hear a foreign
accent on the bus, because a handful of tax dodging billionaires told them to.

Literally beneath contempt.

Lest we forget.

British politics is still so much more saner than American politics. I watch Fox News and that sheite is scary as fack. There is just no way to redeem the Trump cult in the US from the post-fact, alternative reality they inhabit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The noises the Tories have made about revoking Channel 4's licence and scrapping the BBC licence fee suggest we're not that far away from a media landscape that isn't kept relatively sane by public service broadcasters with a duty to impartiality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tearing up licences for broadcasters which publish stories you don’t like.

Removing the authority of the Supreme Court to adjudicate on the legality of Government decisionmaking.

What’s next? The Westminster Fire Decree?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not even an exaggeration to compare what is happening to Germany 1930.

The average vote is 2. Out Out Out. Those that disagree ,tough titty.

Can allways move to an EU member if it's so terrible .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do you support Leave so much pal?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Many reasons. But mostly because I support our government being able to prevent murderers and rapists entering the country / being able to ship them off to where they came from.

Preventing 1 rape or murder is good reason enough, surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What about all the British Rapists and Murderers that are born here? Where do they go, or we don`t worry about them because they are good old Brits, salt of the earth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ideally wed euthanized them

Because being a member of the EU means we cant stop murderers and rapists from the EU from entering / remaining in our country and committing terrible crimes.

Tried to read through this while thread but got to this comment and I just can't do this. Wow, just wow. This is the people we gave a voice to and now we have to fall by their sword due to their stupidity.

Shocking that not 1 person has said that leaving would be worth it if leaving prevented 1 rape or murder.

Absolutely despicable. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Remain camp are mainly emotional folks who treat the EU like a religion.
Don't expect any rationality with them.
I mean, these guys fought for 3 years to stop the implementation of a democratic decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You genuinley think thta is a rational question?

I mean do you think that Brexit comes down to what is being suggested?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It doesnt comendoen to that. But as an individual, surely you can answer the question

Remember that German politician whose daughter was r@ped and murdered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, and even if I did, why cite just one case to suit your agenda.

By your reasoning, once Brexit is all over, their will never ever be a rape or murder in the UK ever again, because it is only the immigrants that commit such crimes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nobody has suggested anything of the sort

------------------
No, Brexit would mean we can't necessarily do that. Kind of the point, wasn't it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wont be done overnight. Plenty of time to pack up and move to wherever you fancy as a better country to live in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why would I move to another country knowing that I could be booted out of there in a years time?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you calling the EU racist?

I don't think the Labour Party is close to being as antisemitic now as the N@zi Party was in 1930, it was much more out in the open at that time.

That one day, the £10bn sent to the EU annually will be spent on our social services, police, schools NHS.
That one day, UK fishermen/women will have priority access to UK waters.

Not everyone will. Or have. Thousands of SMEs have gone under already. Investment has dried up. Hundreds of businesses have relocated to Europe.

Whilst uncertainty a factor, we've not even completed the first stage (withdrawal) yet. The years that follow ain't going to be sunlit uplands.
