I agree KWP is far to weak. Him and Skipp are not the future unfortunately, just not good enough. Aurier is just as poor though mate and always has a f*** up in him. The 2 wing back positions are desperately needed.

We are far too easy to score against, especially if you have pace. We need a LB and a RB that can defend and accelerate the ball through the thirds rapidly. We need a DM that is strong, mobile and technically proficient, who can screen the back line, win the ball and transition play forward quickly.
At the moment both flanks are vulnerable, the central midfield offers no protection to the back line and the link between defensive mid and attacking mid is virtually non existent.
Until we resolve these problems we will continue to be inconsistent and have the form of a midtable side. When you look at other teams in the CL like Bayern, PSG, Barca, Liverpool, City, we are out of our depth in that competition. FA Cup run and 4th place should be our targets.

The quoted price is £120m. So if you say that’s top whack, £90m - £100m is the realistic price and that still never going to happen.
This team needs about a £250m overhaul to get us challenging again.

Well if we want to be a top class club instead of pretenders all the time, then unfortunately we need to start spending big. So yes, players like Koulibaly are the top class players that will push us up a new level. If we want to be pretenders and continue achieving f*** all, we continue the way we are time for a change in direction. Maybe Jose coming in will change it.
