Let`s be fair if teams like Leicester can suddenly jump from like 8th or 9th to title contenders, absolutely no reason why a team like Spurs cannot.

I don`t get all the pessimism. New manager, scoring goals for fun again, what`s not to like. Surely nobody is judging the team on last night with a mostly reserve team on show.

I agree sandy, I’m optimistic with Jose and feel he will eventually make us successful, but our defence are truly s***.

Nothing has changed still up to Levy, will he spend money on top class players or will we still get bargain buys

Yup the defence needs sorting out, that is for sure.

Levy won't back Mourinho properly, you know it and I know it, Levy is just hoping Jose can get us top four on a budget of next to fack all.

All ENIC want is CL, they don't give 2 farts about trophies.

Watched most of the game last night and Spurs are desperately short at the back in terms of good quality defenders. Full backs are poor, don't think the CB's are all they once were amid reports over their respective future's and I don't think Lloris has all the hype either.

Might be time for a reshuffle at Spurs. Get a couple of solid defenders on the books, probably a CB and at least 1 other full back and replace the players who have expressed a desire to leave, particularly Eriksen.

Frankly that"s a load of codswollop!
Obviously, Bayern are THE team to fear in the CL.

My view of last night's match is much more sinister.
We should start by naming those players who were NOT on the pitch last night and who we think could play well against a team of Bayern's obvious class.
Why? Because nobody on last night's pitch had a decent game (not good, just decent) except perhaps Gazza. Also Son and Wanyama didn't play much of the match.

So I come up with: Kane, Alli, Ndombele,Vertonghen.
Then you can discuss if you think Aurier, Winks and Sanchez would be good enough, I don't think so.
Then you can look at the players that did face Bayern and decide if any of those did well enough to face them again: perhaps Sissoko, Alderwiereld.
And now look at the players who were made to look like headless chickens .....
Foyth, Rose, Moura, Lo Celso, KWP, Dier, Skipp.

Lets give Son and Wanyama a reprieve for short playing time.

And what do we come up with?
Gazza, Kane, Alli, NDombels, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Son, Sissoko, Wanyama

That's 9 players and most would not include Sissoko and Wanyama, so really just 7.

Reality: we need 4 top class replacements to have any chance of beating a team like Bayern Munich.

Over to Levy, Mr. Mourinho!

Oh yes, I forgot Eriksen .... he's really not here, is he!
Anyway, he was a real headless chicken last night!
