Always wondered how it would feel to be in the hat for the KO stages of a European cup competition
feel the same as you oldgold - first time i saw vinagre a couple of years ago against burton i was completely blown away, thought he was one of the most talented kids i've ever seen. thought he would be a first team regular in no time.
he does seem to have stalled though.

1 stepover - "Excellent stepover there Ruben"
2 stepovers - "Quite liked your stepovers there son"
3 stepovers - "The stepovers were OK but cool it a bit"
4 stepovers - "Just too many stepovers there lad"
5 stepovers - "OK, Ronaldo you're not"
6 stepovers - "Do that again you're on your bike"
So we will play one of the following 13 teams in the next round.
Inter Milan
Ajax
Benfica
Salzburg
Seville
Linz
Celtic
Basel
Malmo
Espanyol

Baseksehir
Porto
Two leg matches and we will be at home in the first leg.
Torn between what I would like to see in the draw. Malmö, Besaksehir, Espanyol or Gent probably the easiest. But how good would it be to see Inter Milan, Ajax or Benfica at Molineux.
Had to google Baseksehir, only formed in 1990, state owned (original the team of the municipal water company) and boast several familiar names (if you have a decent memory still) in their squad, such as Gael Clichy, Demba Ba, Martin Skrtl and Robinho no less.

Yeah baseksehir are no mugs these days. Didn't they come very close to a league title recently?
Interesting to see that Espanyol are actually bottom of the Spanish League

Man Utd are now favourites to win the Europa League At 5/1. In order after them are Arsenal, Ajax, Seville, Inter Milan, Roma, Salzburg then Wolves at 16/1
Talking to a journalist today who has watched lots of the Europa League games this season and he said nobody has impressed him more than Linz
