Or what is more likely with jose is keeping dier as a main stay and having sissoko and Winks battle it out for the other spot
His performance looked good as a comparison to Dier just because he had energy.
Even Wanyama looked like an athlete compared to Dier.
If Skipp is the best we can do then we have no hope for this season.

Skipp couldn't lace our DMs boots.
Amazing how Dier looked top draw playing alongside Dembele, same for Wanyama.
Why not try Skipp, if he develops it could save us millions, but I think Mourinho will persist with his love child for now, he likes that tall midfielder to win headers in the middle of the park.
Have to say it but I’m with Sandy on this one. The boy doesn’t seem to have enough to his game to make it at the top level. He may well end up a premiership player, but not enough raw attributes to make it to the top. Glad to be proven wrong though.

I remember early Dier being up and down the pitch, busting his hump to track back. Now it's a one paced jog around the picth. He may not be 100% match fit but after 4 or 5 games he must be somewhere near it but looks so lumbering. Needs to lose some of teh muscle, it's not needed and slowing him down IMO.

Worth a go but I'm sceptical
Agree with this, Dier is our worse player atm and Jose needs to quit trying to play him into form asap, he's slow and unfit
Skipp looked 10x better simply by being able to get around the pitch quicker
DM needs to be no 1 priority in January

Mind letting Weare know, he thinks he will turn into Xavi.
Skipp is being put on the pitch before he's ready.
As for Foyth ..... he was made to look like a lightweight,slow moving, sparrow last night.
Was it Coman and Coutinho who were blasting past him all night and turning him around in circles.
Foyth was a disaster!
