"Since Mourinho took over from Mauricio Pochettino, Spurs have played 3 league games resulting in a win at home to Bournemouth, a loss at Old Trafford and a complete demolition job on Burnley at home last Saturday"

4 actually. Beat West Ham in his first game in charge.

Would agree with your prediction in it being a high-scoring game. 3-2 either way or 2-2 as you say.

Sorry Flashy, had a brain fart there and forgot about the West Ham game

Forgiven.

I often forget about West Ham too.

Now Sessegnon has popped his cherry do you think Jose will give him a go on Sunday?

Fantastic preview Gem. Some interesting stats and insights into the forthcoming match.

Well done.

Shame they've opted for Man Utd vs Everton as the TV match. Our one should be a great watch.

Yeah I think it's going to be a cracker. Sadly United are always seen as more important than little Wolves, hopefully, one day the TV companies will start taking us seriously.

Agreed.

I think Man United and Everton will be a poor watch. A game chosen based on past status rather than current state.

I'm not looking forward to our game. Think we could quite easily lose

Ideally we NEED another win to keep our momentum going in clawing back Top 4 from an almost impossible position a month or so ago

As a Wolves fan I see this as a very winnable game. However, I see it as more of a challenge than I did a month ago.

Should be a really entertaining game but then over the years I’ve rarely felt games against Mourinho teams are attractive on the eye, and sooner or later I’m sure he will revert to type and adopt a conservative approach that puts more emphasis on not conceding.

Im sure the Spurs aim will be to get into the top 4 but then why shouldn’t that be Wolves aim too. And with our front line of Traore, Jimenez and Jota all firing, we are capable of beating anyone.

If we hope to win this one the singular most important thing is to come out all guns blazing. If we start the game at half speed, creating little in the final third like we have been in recent matches, this will not go well for us.
We cannot keep stepping up a gear and chasing games in the second half, sooner or later we have to compete for 90 minutes.

Hope I'm wrong but I think our unbeaten run may come to an end here. Kane & Son are capable of winning games on their own in the blink of an eye and look back in the kind of form to do so. That said I wouldn't say that Spurs are better than us all over the pitch. Wouldn't turn my nose up at a draw.

Think you're right Gem, but will be tough to do against a Mourinho team.

He'll be trying to keep our WBs occupied in their own halves and can see their front two causing Coady & Saiss a few problems.

Hard to call this one, probably another draw

Dani Olmo scored a brilliant goal for Zagreb against Man City this week and evidently impressed in his overall performance. And Wolves evidently had a scout there to see him

Don't let Hengy hear your say that - he'll get jealous over Olmo.
