Great summary Rev, you have pretty much summed up my thoughts. There are no really ‘must win’ games as yet, but I feel, the first goal tomorrow will be massive. Wednesday have the worst record in the division for failing to hold onto leads, however, we don’t seem able to break teams down who score first. I am sure Wednesday will try to isolate Grabban which will reducing threat massively. I’d like to see how we fare after scoring an early goal and give us something to build on. Team wise there will be a couple of changes I’d think, maybe Dawson dropping to the bench, two games in a week will probably be too much, Robinson was at fault on Tuesday so may get the hook, and either Adomah or Ameobi to support Grabban. I am pretty sure we won 1-0 last season, and don’t see there being more than a goal in it, hopefully in our favour.. it would be nice to see one of the younger strikers given a chance, probably from the bench, currently anyone other than Mir, who unfortunately looks out of his depth, I also doubt Carvalho will start.

We came out of the blocks quickly at Derby on Wednesday but failed to push on after taking the lead. Monk then made some very defensive substitutions which invited pressure and resulted in the equaliser. The substitutions meant we then had no chance of winning the game and seems to be a bit of a pattern if we go in front. We will also be missing Sam Hutchinson after a tenth booking of the season. We usually do well against Forest but I would be amazed if we came away with all three points

We'll almost certainly concede one goal, but I'm confident of a 2-1 win Sloppy

Kitty 👍

I will take the 2-1 win that you offered. Thank you

I expect Wendies to be a bit more adventurous than our two previous visitors. So maybe we will have that little bit more space to play in which we seem to need. Nuhiu and Forestieri have cause us problems in the past.. I would prefer Dawson up against Nuhiu, but agree he shouldn’t really be asked to play three games a week. Ribeiro to come in if fit. And Adomah to start.

I thought the atmosphere was a bit flat on Tuesday, but more away fans today should help with that.

After two below par performances I expect us to start with a good tempo and high press which hopefully will result in an early lead.

Trickiest to get back on track 3-1

Carvalho in for Lolley is the knit change.

Only change too. ☺️

Personally I don’t think in previous home games we have generally deserved to win them. I think we did on Wed against Boro. But prior to that we usually don’t look like scoring. Teams know if they nick a goal they will probably win it.

I don’t really know how you sort that out. I think that’s the championship really. We are just not enough of. Stand out side to be expecting to beat teams who sit back against us. We are good at counter attack but not so good at home. I don’t think it tactics really.

The only think that can change is quality of crosses and passes in the final third. That has been awful all season. I don’t really think Silva is good enough. I do not wanna be slagging him off cause he has done well, he just isn’t getting enough assists or goals which you need in that position.

Lamouchi clearly wants creativity as it has been at a premium. Lolley hasn’t been at his best recently so it is no real surprise. Carvalho has much to prove, especially with him being linked with Trabzonspor in Turkey.

Silva has played his part, I would say it has been the two wide forwards, usually Lolley and Ameobi, who haven’t provided enough. Silva’s set pieces have been disappointing to say the least. Trying to drill everything in which makes it easier to defend against.

I hope Forest can sneak a result that will get some momentum going again. I’d take a lucky 1-0 win, please. Worrall is due a goal so I reckon he will nick one from a set piece.

WBA (again) score 2 in the last 8 minutes to come from behind to win

That is the form of an Automatic top 2 team

WBA have much better players than us, that’s the difference. So do Leeds and Fulham. We are in a group behind those 3 and no one really stands out. Teams not doing so well like Derby will def get better. We will need to improve to go up for sure. If we can add in January that will help.

I’m seriously beginning to wonder whether this manager really is good enough...he certainly doesn’t seem to be at the moment - at this rate he’ll be gone sometime between Christmas and Easter

If he can turn today’s result around, it’ll go a long way in me changing my mind, but as it stands he’s mediocre At best

I think he has adapted to the Championship very well.

I am sick of this merry-go-round of managers. This one is OK for me. BC he certainly isn't but he's doing OK.

Clear penno there. Remember, no accidental handball nowadays. The defenders arm was outstretched when the ball hit it. Clear handball...

Bosque, I hate the manager changing circus too - but unfortunately, those in charge are insisting on promotion - they will not hang about in making a decision if they can clearly see it’s not going in that direction

If we can can hang around the Playoffs, I think he’ll be safe, but if we continue to throw away points like have been of late, he’ll be in trouble pretty soon
