I expect a reasonably comfortable win for us on Wednesday and a very comfortable win for them on Friday.

Hearts are quite simply a disgrace to their shirt and their fans. Downward spiral which doesn't look like changing any time soon. If we drop points there I would question our ability to win this league right there and then.

Hibs can play decent stuff and have good movement. They don't seem to have any strength or grit which Rangers have now in abundance. Rangers will simply bully them off the park, even without Morelos. Kent will come decent again and Jack and Arfield will stroll that midfield

The 29th is the big one. And we will need to be far better than we have of late to take the three points.

I thought Celtic played incredibly well last night?

Even with some key players out we were full of thought and imagination, and it could and should have been a lot more.

As I mentioned on another thread Rangers have to start asking others to show its not all about Morelos, Kent for instance came with a big price tag but he has been very average.

I thought the same tbh. No idea how we won young player of the year last season as if im honest he was quite poor. That trend appears to have continued into this season.

Ginger 29th is a huge game, we have to win it imo. Saturday won't be easy for us either.

I'd fancy Hibs getting a result on Friday tbh with Morelos not playing.

Frimpong is unbelievable man, his small wiry frame, added to his pace makes him breeze by players time and again....his set up for Eddy's 2 sitters were excellent.

We need to keep Edouard fit over the next week and raring to go on the 29th. Hopefully we can win these next 2 games and potentially look to give him a rest on boxing day at St Mirren

The worry for Rangers is they have fairly gone all in on this season.

McGregor, Davis, Defoe, Arfield are all the wrong side of 30

Morelos, Barasic, and Ryan Jack if he keeps up his run of form, will all be subject to bids.

Thats 6 (potentially 7) first teamers needing replace with equal quality which is a hard task especially with the added pressure of TIAR (providing we win 9)

Frimpong is a revelation.

Every time he got the ball we were all on our feet. His turn of pace and trickery a joy to watch and he makes it worth going to games.

Towards the end all Hibs could do was double up and shut down his avenue down the wing, so all he did was pull them out of position and play the ball inside. Helped lead to our second goal when Forrest found himself free in the box with a simple cutback to Eddie.

A joy to watch.

We say this every year and steadily every year Rangers have improved.

Not to mention how you'll cope with replacing brown and eduoard "with equal quality". But we don't want to mention that.

True, a few differences this season though

Morelos has reached a new level in Europe. Clubs will surely be fielding offers now. Barasic and Jack were gash last year and nobody would have fancied them. Both are now performing in Europe.

Defoe - Im sure his loan deal ends this year & he is 37
Davis - 35 years old now and surely was a short term solution
Arfield - Only 31 so i can cut him some slack on this
McGregor - Will be 38 before seasons end.

They cant keep going forever.

Yes Rangers have improved, but I don't think we have stood still, we are playing the best football since the invincible season IMO.
Yesterday was huge for Rangers, not many pointing out that was their first win in 4 games, they needed to arrest that and will IMO need to win on Friday or it could slip away from them should we win at CP.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, in turn.

Keeper - huge upgrade but still can't kick a ball out any distance to a Celtic player.

Defence - Wholesale improvement

Midfield - Same same

Attack - Gone backwards. One excellent striker. That's it.

Ntcham looks like he's playing for his move again and once his French chum goes he'll be banging on Lennon's door to leave.

Frimpong has to be signing of the season, it says it all we haven't missed big gorgeous chops, Hatem.

We're really strong in the wide areas up and down the pitch for me now.

Griffiths and Bayo do at least give us some form of option over the next 4 games should we need too and if games are won, Eddy needs whipped off at that point.

Forrest needs a rest.

Ntcham was outstanding yesterday.

Ideally in the window we need

CB - Simunovic is done
CM - Back up
LW - Unless hes willing to give Sinclair a run as that both Elyounousi and Johnstone out now
ST - Maybe 2

Lennon said there's a meeting tomorrow to finalise his targets so that means we'll still not have signed anyone at 5pm on 31st January.

Forster won't be signed until the summer if at all.

If truth be told, he's an absolute must for next season. There was a video the other day doing the rounds of Gordon, i forgot how many goals we conceded with him doing his stupid tilting his head back and just throwing his arms without watching the ball.

I think Hearts will try sign him on loan in January.
