Thoughts on Jose's performance sandy?

"Kane, Dele, Son and Moura do they ever turn up in big games? All four were abysmal today."

"The midfield is awful, no creativity."

Am sure there is no connection here at all

He wasn`t on the pitch. I will give him time. But players like Son are really doing my head in now, brilliant one week and play like a car crash the following week. Sent off three times in six months is reckless to the extreme.

This is our level I’m afraid, 18 games and six loses o said it we will keep on losing one in three games and will rack up at least 12 defeats this year, team isn’t mentally good enough, the issue is we all know we need better players on January but will this happen and are they out there? This team isn’t good enough for top four end of............

The midfield lacked any creativity whatsoever & I am afraid Dier has regressed as a player.

This is where we fall over, Chelsea completely outplayed us today all over the park, but everything revolves around the middle of the park and we were not at the races today.

Son was stupid and could have no qualms about being sent off.

Well there is obviously some connection, but that does not give that four an excuse for putting in complete abject performances, lacking in effort. A pub team front four would put in more effort than they did today.

I always think they get off lightly, whilst the usual suspects get ripped to pieces by supporters.

They were making runs and clearly had been told not to press, if anything Dele was trying too hard at times

Dier is certainly not up to it.
But NDombele is not fit....what's with Lo Celso?
We had two decent chances to score in the first half, one to Kane and one to Son and both went into row Z.
Had either scored, it would be a different game.

These games hang on small threads!

I no longer trust these "must-win" games. Reminded me of the simple match we needed to win last season to go top of the league. Point being, we blatantly don't even look like we are trying to win. Wolves were immense. Chelsea today looked like they didn't even care.

Was just reading up on this earlier. Make of it what you will:

"The 1984 UEFA Cup Final was a football tie played on 9 May and 23 May 1984 between R.S.C. Anderlecht of Belgium—the defending Champions—and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. of England.

Years later, it emerged that Anderlecht's passage to the final had involved the club's chairman paying a bribe totalling £27,000 to the referee for the semi-final against Nottingham Forest. A dubious penalty was awarded to Anderlecht, whilst a Forest goal was controversially disallowed."

It absolutely goes on, suitable palms are greased etc

It happens in other sports that involve far less money than football, what with all the money sloshing around in football anybody who thinks all is above board is very naive indeed.

Sandy basically admitting what I said months ago; that any manager would be hamstrung by this weak minded group of technically inept players.

Sandy was thinking on the way home who can I blame for this disaster, cant blame Maureen, so will go with Kane, Dele, Son and Lucas, surely its there fault, that will do

Yes, our midfield was not up to this game.
So they had more possession.
But they really have just one player, Willian who won this game for them.

We had two decent chances to score in the first half, one to Kane and one to Son and both went into row Z.
Had either scored, it would be a different game.

Not such a blow out as some are saying!
And where are Levy's midfield purchases?

You just know if this poor performance and result was under Poch, those players wouldn't even be mentioned.

posted on 23/12/19

Lets be brutally honest and say we have a lot of players that simply are not good enough.

But for the Poch lovers lets remember he put this squad together.

For the Jose lovers lets not forget he keeps picking Dier and Sissoko, he watched Olypiakos tear us a new one and had to make a change after 30 minutes. He watched Utd make us look awful and he watched Wolves tear us apart albeit that we stole a result.

Yet he still picked Dier and Sissoko.

Both Poch and Jose earn millions from the game yet there is not a Spurs fan that I know of or speak to that thinks those two are a good combination.

How the hell do two of the top rated football managers in the world think it is a good combination?

It beats me it really does
