Don’t think either club or the gmp really thought this through with the allocations.

Nope it’s a ridiculous situation
Not GMPs doing though I’m led to believe
So if any Man City fans do let them know their row and seat number I wonder what time they'll be leaving the ground?
Unless it's some kind of joke I'm missing?

United shot themselves in the foot here thinking 1000’s of tourists would turn up to spend fortunes in the club store
“ Tonight's crowd will be the highest for a United game in the Carabao Cup for a number of years, but is still expected to be around 6,000 short of capacity.”

About 4500 of those is down to the voluntary limit on away fans both clubs are setting?
Both clubs have decided to forego the usual 10% away fan allocation for the games. City only getting 3000 instead of 7500, with United only getting 2800 away tickets for the Etihad.

Maybe. Tis true though. Both clubs limiting away allocations in light of the incident last month with the City fan, and the previous semi at OT in 2010 when both sets of fans were being tw*ts.
Surely they would of sold the unallocated away seats though? Or does that not work at ot?
Either way seems like the clubs and gmp have dropped the ball with this one

Considering seats were on open sale, what right have the stewards got to sling City fans out?
