Funnily enough I bumped into an old work colleague earlier, he's a villa fan, season ticket holder, he doesn't rate Grealish, says he is overrated. I was surprised by this but he said he can be great but goes missing too often, I said sounds like what Everton fans said about Barkley, he said, exactly.
Not sure we need him.

i haven't watched Villa so I'm no judge, I was surprised by this guy's view of him though. Mind you he was criticising Frank for not buying anyone before the season started so maybe I should take his opinion with a case of salt.

Anyone seen any of Irish Guy from HITC Sport? Wouldn't mind see Grealish move to a top 6 club just to get his reaction, you know he'll dedicate an entire video to it
Not for me. Better than Barkley but not better than Mount, not required. I would say we should've gotten him instead of Barkley in 2018 but I actually think staying at Villa helped him, he was overhyped for years & now is beginning to justify it - so he made the right move staying/not fussing when they wouldn't sell him.

I like Mount, his work rate is excellent and he'll be a very good, versatile squad option for years to come but he's no Jack Grealish. Guys on a completely different level.

I'll be amazed if he's still at Villa next season, regardless of staying up or going down.
Grealish is much better than Mount. It’s to he expected, of course, as he’s older with a lot more experience.

If Vanilla stay up he'll still be there. Boyhood Villa fan from a Villa family!
dont think there is much in it between mount and grealish and would give the nod due to a.)maybe a little bias and b.)age
Mount works harder in a pressing team, can play more positions, is quicker.
Grealish is more skillful, a bit more clinical and maybe a better passer.
Either way not much between them.

I think you can easily slot Grealish and Mount into the same side very effectively, especially with Mount being as versatile as he is
