The new deal he signed was only a wage increase. Everything else stayed the same.

I'm wondering who as well. It seems Rojo has been ruled out going by reports so not sure who it'd be. Whoever it is hopefully it's logical and in a position we're well covered. Wonder if it could be Bailly to prove his fitness to earn a new deal?

I can’t work out who the loan player might be.

They desperately need another striker, then priorities are probably in central midfield, trying to replace Bruno (although they have a bunch of players who can play across the supporting line), and possibly a right back.

We can’t help them with the first two, surely, and I can’t see Lingard or Mata going there, so we’re left with maybe Gomes or Dalot at a stretch (although would that mean Young staying?).

They don’t have any need for Rojo.

Dalot wouldn't be on massive wages either I'd presume so that could be a goer just for him to get game time. That depends on Young staying though.

Gomes. He's Portuguese and can fill in the void left by fernandes. Gives them time to buy a replacement.

Main problem with loaning Gomes out is that he's in the last 6 months of his contract. If he is loaned out, that only further reduces the chances of him signing an extension. Unless it's already reached the point of no return on that already

Spurs need a striker, dm, cb and full backs. Mourinho’s already ruled out signing him. Seems really unlikely Spurs will go for him in January.
