Jose has settled the team down now, with all the injuries. The away form has picked up 100 per cent since he came in. Remember what was it eight successive away Prem defeats under the old manager.
A new striker is imperative now, if Spurs are to at least have a stab at the two cup competitions they are still in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does he ever get anything right?
I do not buy the argument that a top class striker would not want to come because he'd play back-up to Kane.
Kane is 26 and now injury prone ... this is his 3rd major injury in as many seasons.
A new striker would share duties with Kane, one match on-one match off.

Poch 12 games - 3 wins, 5 draws, 4 defeats = 14 points

Lost - Newcastle, Leicester, Brighton, Liverpool
Jose 11 games - 5 wins, 2 draws, 4 defeats = 17 points
Won - WHU, Bournemouth, Burnley, Wolves, Brighton
Draw - Norwich, Watford

Jose inherited this situation whereas Poch created it. We won't be able to compare the two until after Jose has had a couple of transfer windows.
I'm not at all sure that he is the right man for the job but unlike some on here I'm prepared to give him a chance to put things right.

Exactly. I'm sure if Pochettino had been given a few transfer windows over the past couple of years - instead of just the one this summer which came too late - then he'd have had Spurs in a much better position too
If Liverpool decided that the building work at the Anfield Road end of the stadium meant they weren't going to sign a player for 2 transfer windows and the form of Mane, Salah and Frimino fell off a cliff (not that it would) that would be the fault of the manager not the chairman.
The fact that so many of our players have gone backwards since the start of 2019 is down to whoever was/is coaching them not whats happening off the pitch. I know there is alot of love for Poch on this forum but to exonerate him for such an extreme loss of form in so many players is bonkers.
Can we stop all the nonsense moaning about a manager that has barely been in the job a couple of months.
The time to judge him will be in two years. I cannot believe some of the ridiculous posters on here that want a manager out that has had no transfer windows and only came a couple of months ago. This site has gone to bits.
The same posters were sucking the last manager off, despite him having an appalling Prem record in 2019, and won SFA in his five years at the club.
I give up with a lot on here. Jose will in time change most of the team, but it aint going to happen in just two months.

Sandy, went from bigging up spurs aquad and Poch, to wanting him sacked in about six weeks and he is now again preaching.about giving Mourinho time 😂 To some extent this is corre t, all managers need time, but their are strong opinions that Jose was the wrong man for the job from the srart. Given what's gone on at Utd and Chelsea it's an opinion that does hold a lot of water.
Poch said a long time ago that the squad needed refreshed. He could see what was coming and your miserly chairman didn't heed those words. He reacted by sacking the best manager you've had in decades, employing a man who pragmatic brand of football is a direct antithesis of the man he succeeded. He failed jol, Harry, avb and poch but it’s never Levys fault.
1 trophy in 20 years under 9 different managers but it’s never Levys fault.
All because we have a great stadium and lovely training facilities so our now neglected mid table squad can stink out.
But it’s never Levys fault
Good thing about having mourinho is he’ll call out levy for any failings after a couple Transfer windows

Our attacking play will never improve under Jose even if we start scoring again.
I'm not sure how it's ever going to really work with Jose and Levy. I mean on paper it looks like the worst combination you could want for your club. Their philosophies are the polar opposite of one another. One needs to change theirs for the pair of them to succeed and that does not look like happening at either end.

"The time to judge him will be in two years".
Chances are that he will have been escorted out from Spurs before that. Looks like his current strategy is to avoid losing rather that to try winning!
