I'll predict both teams drop points at least twice before we play again

I just dont think the league is that strong this season I think having to rely on other teams would be a disaster

we need keep it in our own hands by not losing at Ibrox

I'll happily go into the Ibrox game with everyone thinking Rangers are gonna batter us.....was the same in September.

Plenty twists yet, we are only half way through the season, not like there's 8 odd games to go.

Don't get me wrong I'm as worried as anyone else is in regards to losing the league but I feel like there's an overreaction in terms of how things stand. I know rangers have a game in hand(which won't be played til March, April at the earliest) but we are sitting at the top of the league....in January......there's fckin ages to go yet

It'll go right to the wire, can't see either side imploding but i can see both dropping points before the split.

What concerns me the most is Lennon doesn't know or can't get his best 11 out for at least another 3 or 4 weeks through various reasons.

Playing Elyounoussi in the cup final may just have cost us the title come May and if it does Lennon deserves to be crucified for it.

I think there are still a couple of ropey results on the way.

Tomorrow night at Rugby Park could be a tricky one but more likely to end up a turgid 2-0 for Celtic.

Our game at Tynecastle with no Tavs and no Alfie wont be easy. Hearts have shown they can lift it against us.

I can see Flanno starting that one instead of young Paterson. It is deffo a potential banana skin though.

I'll be first to the car park if we do lose it but we need to get right behind the team as we're in a title fight and the rangers support will be fully behind theirs. Give the game in hand to rangers and there's 1 measly point in it......crazy to be saying anything is over or not looking good at this stage. I's panic stations....and as I've said, I fully understand that.

Best thing to do is simply look at it as 1 game at a time....and we are favs in every one of these games old firm aside. If it gets to the split and there's still only 1-3 points in it then the pressure is going to be severe and that's not something rangers have had to deal with in recent years. They'll need to go to Pittodrie and Easter Rd in the split and bet yer ersse both would be hostile games especially pittodrie as that's their cup final.

Hearts probably shaded the last game against Rangers at tynecastle and they gave us a good game before christmas

if we can get through

Killie (a)
Ross Co (h)
St Johnstone (a)
Hamilton (a)
Motherwell (a)
Hearts (h)
Aberdeen (a)

with maximum points i'll feel a bit better

Tynecastle pitch is a problem too, absolute sh!t heap. Mentioned before, I reckon tomorrow night is our toughest fixture up until the old firm game.....we never play well on that pitch.....just need to grind out the win at all costs.

If we drop points tomorrow then I'll accept rangers are in the driving seat.

Both have it in their hands as it stands

I think the way to go on these plastic pitches is 2 up top....if there's ever a game to mix it up and do that it's tomorrow night. 5 in the mid and tippy tappy passing won't work on a tight plastic pitch with a Killie team suffocating the pitch. we need to get the ball into the box quicker

Christie back in full training Should be ok for the weekend which is good news. I'd give Rogic a run at it though

I don't think Celtic have many players who have experienced that kind of pressure either in recent years. It'll be a new experience for both teams.

I think we need to go 2 up top just now anyway until we get some players back to full fitness

Just pointing to the fact Rangers haven't won a trophy in 9-10 years mate

Think you are right. Nice pleasant football is just not possible or practical on these pitches

Doesn't look like Forrest is training. Ajer is there so he'll start tomorrow as Jozo won't play on the plastic. Hayes will maybe start

I think it'll be interesting to see how both sets of players react to the expectation.

In many ways Rangers might have the better of it in that there supporters will be more positive and hopeful, whereas maybe there's more negativity around Celtic which brings a different kind of pressure?

Seems like it's going to come down to mentality more than anything else though.

yeah you are probably right there Although their crowd at Ibrox will be equally as edgy as ours if we are drawing with a team with 20 mins or so to go.
