Shaun Allaway. Wiki says £300k, but this was back in 2000 for an 18 year old.

According to this Allway's fee would have risen to £2m based on appearances. From 2004:
_______________

Allaway will be 21 next month but the goalkeeper once tipped to be playing for England in time for the 2006 World Cup has yet to begin a League game at any level. His ambitions, like those of Leeds, have been adjusted.

He slipped back into Leeds after a loan spell at Walsall last week, his return going almost unnoticed amid the increasingly febrile debate among first teamers about a proposed wage deferral.

In 2000, Tottenham, Manchester United and Leeds were all embroiled in a battle for his services, but he eventually travelled to Yorkshire in a £2 million appearance-based deal where it was initially believed he would eclipse Paul Robinson in the race to succeed Nigel Martyn.

The only way this makes sense is that they know Kiko will be found guilty. If so he should be fired, shouldn’t discriminate between fans and staff.

I wonder whether the club is banking on Kiko being found guilty so they can get him off the wage bill?

Nothing would surprise me at this club.

The club have stood by Casilla from the start, so there's no way that he's getting sacked over this. Rightly so in my view.

Kiko Casilla
IIanMeslier
Kamil Miazek
Will Huffer
Harrison Male
Matthew Turner
Cooper Skerry

All have represented Leeds senior and U23s this season.

Just how many keepers do we need?

He must be have been bought to be "developed" and sold for a profit.
Can't see any other reason for this.
Like Radz has stated, that is how he will run the club.
Buy cheap, develope, and try to make a profit.
As we know, that doesn't always work out

2 years we e been tracking this player. That’s 2 years of someone’s time and salary, part of reason our wage bill is £40mill a figure AR admits as unsustainable.

Nothing wrong with long term plans unless they’re getting in the way of short term delivery.

How can you develop 8 keepers when there are only 2 starting positions.

At present turner and cooper can play u18 but won’t be long before we have 8 into 2.

Will Huffer - what has happened to this lad? Made his debut for the first team. Had loan periods out and was supposed to be highly rated. He’s just disappeared. Had his career nosedived because we have too many keepers?
