AC dealt with almost everything that came his way, definitely not one to point out as a poor performer and lambast.
He's been our standout performer since he's got these three run of games.

One of the very few that did perform well yesterday, along with Azpi & Callum.

Yes thought Callum was decent

Callum's magnificent vision (playmaking ability), speed of thought/play and spatial awareness.
Can hold his head high.

Will always get my support over petty inane remarks

Our midfield shape worked well 11 vs 11, but not 11 v 10.

We need more command and authority from our senior players,it's what the younger guys want and expect.
As we know ,we are a work in progress, and the next couple of years will show a lot more maturity all round.

Keep it up Frank.

Kante's been a disappointment this season. Was expecting him to step up and show the way for the younger players but he's regressed if anything:

Do you guys genuinely think that Frank has done well for you as 4th spot aside it appears that anyone else would be getting lambasted for the results you have been getting. Lamps is decent chap no doubt but let's be honest he didn't get Derby promoted and hasn't shown too much at Chelsea so far.

Just an honest question btw and not intended to rile you up. Arteta similarly hasn't done anything so far

Yeah of course he's done well. This isn't a regular season so you can't judge him like it is one. There was a transfer ban in a summer where we really needed to bring in players and if that wasn't problematic enough we lost one of our best if not our best ever player in the process.

Frank himself has never even managed a season in the PL and only has one year's previous experience as a manager, yet in spite of all that we're still in the top four, still in the Champions League and still in the FA Cup.

Not to mention the fact that he's done something that no previous Chelsea manager in the Roman era was able to do which is successfully bring through a group of kids who are still very green but who are clearly improving under his stewardship.

An unusual display of resilience from Arsenal, pity it had to be against us. I was sure we'd win that game right up to the point Bellerin scored - 99% of the time they fold in games like yesterday.

Still don't think we need anyone. In a bizarre way I think the clusterf*** nature of the league this year has rose people's expections. If we were 6th-7th right now, which in a normal year we would be, people would be more patient with the current squad/their eyes still on the vision this year. We need to give these young players a full season to evaluate what they need with clarity, then enter the market based on that, not buy a quick tip 4 fix (defeats the point of what we've started under Frank).

Have to admit though ,N'Golo might need a break, perhaps against Hull? We have some serious games coming up in the next few weeks...........make or break ?

Can't disagree with CMF on AC, he has done well since returning. I still have a big question maker on him though when playing agst tghe strong physical teams.

CHO has deffo improved in recent games, he is looking to take more risks and make somethng happen. His inexperience is showing through which is to be expected, he does lose the ball in bad areas and is a little impetous at times, but overall the last few games from him have been a positive.

I agree, and Frank needs to be careful here. If he spends money on the wrong players in January, then then he becomes exposed to criticism and also to a reduced spending purse in the summer.

I hate that we always look to sign past sell by date strikers, but maybe this time having Cavani to help Tammy's work load makes sense, but on a loan basis.

Otherwise, unless a dream LB becomes available, stay strong and keep the purse closed till summer

When you can't beat a 10 man mediocre Arsenal team at home, then you must admit that your team is pretty pathetic!

Pathetic did you say !,I think not,I saw some decent football played by our team last night, although lacking the goals , which we might/should have scored, and give Arsenal credit also, they didn't give up, Arteta must get some credit for that as well.

posted on 22/1/20

At home against 10 men and 1-0 up, yes we did fine to hang in there but we're not playing well, we've got major problems and for those of you that don't think you've got major problems all I can say is that you are delusional...

No reason he needs to play that game...& I'd like to see him further back & have/be told to have the Discipline to stay there, thereby giving the likes of Mount & others to get forward & either shoot or put a forward in

posted on 23/1/20

We really need to get a better shape at times....too many players ill disciplined in their positioning for me currently,

Had we employed a better double sub on the 30 mins to go mark, & closed up shop we'd have won that Arsenal game

posted on 23/1/20

Exactly what I was saying Sheriff,we need more discipline from the team, and more leadership from the senior players.

Frank got his game management wrong also.
