just don't believe it's possible that any of those players were a patch on a 21st century athlete as gifted as Bale. Sure they were good though.

All better footballers mate. Just because Bale is a 100 yard sprinter, don`t make him a better footballer. Without his pace, he wouldn`t be that great.

Cliff Jones could do all Bale does, and more, one of the best headers of a ball I have seen.
