Southampton looking at other players themselves and turn down 20 million for a player that's not first choice for them ?. Something doesn't sound right.

The £20m would only apply if Leeds promoted to PL, so wouldn't kick in until end of season.
Can’t say the club ain’t offering the money. That’s more than he is worth. But they obviously realise what matters is promotion.
Can’t believe he isn’t coming.

Always amuses me when people get excited by a reported transfer fee.
Perhaps the full package is 20m.
Perhaps its 3m upfront, 7m if promoted and 10m if he plays 2000 games for England...
