Yes, he was very poor last night. We are seeing now of his pace, he looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. But he is still young, so may get better. At the moment though he is simply not good enough.
If our senior pro’s were performing like they should it would make it easier for him to bed in.
I think he’s better playing further forward
Give him some more time before writing him off
Rather him than Rose, he will improve, he has only played a handful of games. The whole team is low on confidence.

Hounslows not writing him off, but we are seeing none of the blistering pace, he was supposed to have, and used in spades when he played at Fulham. Probably the level up is causing him problems. He has time on his side though.
thrown in because we dont have a LB, not his fault.
only a teenager as well
doesnt help when a senior player like Eriksen castigates you for not chasing one of his impossible passes
Tonight was his first poor game and he's a teenager
Can live with that
Not just him but pretty much the whole team was poor aside from Aurier and Lo Celso (the former has really turned it around)

Mourinho has set the team up to accommodate him cause we dont have a RB

Pretty sure Jose has said he sess his future at left back. I think long term that will be his position. Give him time.
I had a good view of him when we played Middlesbrough, he kept finding space down the left but did not get the ball - but when he did instead of burning down the wing as we hoped he would he always chose the safe option of passing it inside or backwards. Looked like he lacked some confidence
He's not a LB that's for sure. But with Davies injured, Rose being a kn0b and Verts to slow to play there, we're short on options so Jose has no choice really.
Still one for the future, but he's miles off PL standard.
"Miles off" is an exaggeration.
It was obvious he wasn't good enough at Fulham when they were in the PL so was daft to buy him.

I wouldn't say so.
We played Norwich, the worst team in the PL and he looked out of his depth.
Got into good positions against Middlesborough, but looked bang average for most of the game.
Did nothing in the PL with Fulham.
At the moment, he's still Championship level - at best.
Sure he'll come good, he has time on his side. But currently, he's not good enough.

Why do people keep saying he did nothing at Fulham just because he didn't single handedly keep them up ffs
He's a teenage winger having to play as the more defensive fullback in a Mourinho team ffs
Lets calm down

People say he did nothing at Fulham because he did nothing at Fulham. Simple really.
Brilliant in the Championship, but looked awful/average when they came up.
He's living off the hype from Fulham's promotion season when he was a fresh face.
Struggled since.
