The question I ask whenever I see these kind of articles... Would you be saying it if we were top of the league (no other factors changing)?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably not but then again if we were top it would be the result of being a decently run club.

As Prime mentioned above the Glazers are probably here to stay for a while so we should at least have a working structure beneath them.

I think opposition fans need to enjoy this whilst they can because the worse we become the more likely it is that the Glazers will go. Hopefully when they do eventually decide to go we'll get an owner who really cares about the football.

I'm really hoping Beckham's franchise works in Miami and that he can spearhead a takeover by some rich people who would back him. I'm sure his ego (not in a bad way) would love to help put United back on top.

Beckham as Chief Exec, Sheringham as DoF as Solskjaer as manager, in a structural re-enactment of the 99 CL-winning goal.

I would imagine the average ticket at OT is £50.

Lets assume, half the fans stay away meaning matchday attendances around the 35,000 mark.

They'll be losing about £2m every home game and with about 7 home matches left, that's £14m down on expected trajectory.

But like I said earlier, the stakeholders and sponsors won't like to be associated with a club where its fans are staying at home. It looks bad and they'll put huge pressure on the Board.

The problem you face is convincing your fans to get on board.

how much do they pay out in dividends each year?

Season tickets account for a huge chunk of match revenue. The time for leverage is when they are up for renewal. The difficulty is getting tens of thousands of otherwise unrelated people to act in an organised way, when you don't have their contact data.

......

David May played a very important part in our success back then.

I have no idea why he gets bad press from some of our fans.

He was a much more reliable squad player than any we have now.

Those who still believe that Ole is the right are part of the problem. They are contributing to the decline of this great club by accepting mediocrity.

I know VC. He started the FA Cup final a few days earlier. It's just I always laugh at him in the background when Schmeichel lifts the cup.

But if no other factors had changed that the Glazer could fix... Eg, if pogba, martial, rashy, mct had all stayed fit all season (as an example)...

If we were top of the league, no one would be asking for glazer's out... Even Ed out.

I get what you're saying, and yes we probably are fickle as fans, but we'd be more likely to challenge without incompetence at board level. Having said that it is a collective failure this from owners, board, manager to players. None of them really are doing well enough. We need one outstanding section at least to be able to compete or, failing that, good sections throughout those listed above.

I'd say mass pitch invasions , sit down protests in front of the entrances , disrupting games with paper aeroplanes , shutting down Manchester united media with an anti Glazer message.. I'm joking of course, God knows when the Glazers will have enough of us

Stop going to games and supporting this rubbish
+++

United claim to have around 600million supporters around the World. Mostly who don't regularly go or have never even been to a game and yet still support the current rubbish, apparently

There are also have 70K supporters who do go to games regular who also support the current rubbish.

Do these match going 99% of supporters really hold so much power over the club that if they didn't go for one game or even part of one game (most been ST holders who occupy the same seat every week) the owners would have no option to sell up and/or sack their Chief Exec?

The only ones who can hurt the owners are the match going fans and those that but merchandise, and they aren't about to stop going to games or buying merchandise, because they support the club through thick and thin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s not true though, is it? There are many examples of match going fans staying away and attendances falling when a team isn’t performing on the pitch.

The mean average is a bit over £40, just for the record.

That's a sensible question and I would say that yes, they do have more power because they have the ability to make a political statement.

The scenes of fans leaving at the 84th minute was a significant talking point for pundits and journalists in the mainstream media. Imagine those scenes from not until the end of the season?

There is of course a financial impact but it's more about sending a warning shot, to the ownership that we are not going to put up with it forever.

I agree. Until we get a management team of klopp, poch, ole, hitzfield, lippi and saf, and are bought by the US government treasury, we should stay clear.

On a brighter note, we could put West Ham down on our last home game of the season......small victories
----------------------------------------------------------------------

At least we’ll take them with us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are probably the best they could have if they need 3 pts to stay in the league

In our last few games against West Ham we have somehow managed to make Mark Noble look like Roy Keane.

For some reason we play like a bunch of pansies against West Ham.

Wait? you expect people to give up their hobby, one of the only things i imagine that brings them a bit of joy when the majority will spend the week slogging away doing something they dont particuarly like or enjoy in the form of a job?

thats ridiculous, and will never happen.
