Still surprises me that whenever transfer windows come around there's no speculation about why player leaving, while the media appear to love to tout our players out to any of the standard "big six".
Jimenez is absolute quality and I'm amazed that United or Spurs aren't interested in him. Spurs could do with better full backs and Doherty would be an upgrade on what they have. United need a decent central midfielder yet Neves doesn't get a mention. I don't get it.

Being of the age when I did see the early 70’s to 80 team I am reluctant to go against them, but the football we are playing now is a delight and Nuno and his back up team are so important, if they stay around for a few years we will be in for a treat
Just watching Shrews v Liverpool. Dave Edwards has turned the game around since coming on as sub. Now 2-2 (from being 2-0 down). If they hold out it’ll be a nice boost to the Shrews’ coffers. 👍

Indeed. Cinci has maligned and underrated him for nigh on a decade. The bitterness lives on with this one.
He really isn't. And given people now see how a midfield is supposed to operate it amazes me anyone would think that. A truly dreadful midfielder, so bad in fact we basically had to create a new position to fit him into the side and generally suffered for it. Just go take a look at how we performed with and without him in the side during our league one campaign for full details.
