If Liverpool had won the league the last 8 seasons, had a game in hand, had only dropped 9 points all season and United had drawn 5 of their last 7 games, I'd say any talk of a United title challenge was fanciful at best

Had they not effed up today they'd be 1 point off Juve (who i think have one game in hand).

Today's result makes it difficult for them.

Truth is it is a slower league of inferior quality, which is why the deadwood look ok in it.

Your right, Inter have cracked it, hoovering up sub par ageing players is clearly the way forward...

On a side note how are Napoli so bad this season, does anyone watch serie A enough to know what’s going on there?

Their owner tried to send them to a boot camp I think earlier in the season. And the players rebelled against it and refused to go. They've been pretty much screwed ever since. I'd expect a lot of ins and outs in the summer there.

Young must be loving it - nice big pay day, chance to live in Milan and play another style of football at the end of his career.

Only downside would be that his family probably won’t move with him.
