Funding, whilst very important, is not the only issue. Post 2020 it will be much harder, (and in some instances simply impossible) for UK (third country) companies to procure EU contracts.

For example in regard to Galelio, Airbus and British aerospace, (as well as a host of tech companies) will lose out to their European competitors.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-britain-eu-airbus/airbus-says-eu-should-keep-britain-in-galileo-space-project-despite-brexit-idUSKBN1H42ED

There are hundreds of other projects the UK (after spending many years and considerable resources) will no longer be able to contribute to/benefit from.

Will the UK government continue to fund UK schemes which rely on joint cooperation with EU counterparts? The fact the government haven’t bothered to cost, or commit to them post 2020 should tell you all you need to know.

I wholly agree with you.

I was merely answering the nonsense posted earlier.

Unlike many I won’t be sticking my head in the sand. I’m as aware as can be of the trials and difficulties we will face. As you know it’s affected my businesses already to the tune of 7 figures.

Happened right after the vote in 2016. Currency drop as we import significantly from Germany, Belgium, the US and Italy

Hedged currency since.

A big hit for a leave enthusiast.

We’re starting to see an increase in finished goods to Asia and the Far East as well as now the US. Early days yet but it’s fair to say that again currency has played its part.

It’s all too much of a mixed bag right now but Brexit has had a number of affects on us and I’d say right now we are still on the downside of it overall.

Got some shares maturing next month...company stick price doing quite nicely...in the US.
Facking deterioration in the pound more than cancelling out the gains in the stock.
Facking raging.
Not sure what to do now.

Someone I used to play snooker with owns a ceramics business. He was worried about brexit. I haven't seen him recently however.
