Getting rid of the dross signed by Mark Allen at least.
We're at least 3 players thin though. Possibly more.
And nothing really being mooted regarding incomings.

There was a book I read - probably one of the Calvin ones - saying that new DoF's have to relentlessly get rid of their predecessor's signings because if any of them are a success it's held up as 'he was better than you'. Players told bluntly to GTF just because they weren't the new guy's signing. Football, eh?

I don't know if Jones suits a team like us. Don't think he's skillful enough to break down a packed defence. I wouldn't be sad to see him go in anycase.

Ridiculous signing.
Allen came from City so I wonder if it was a favour to someone
I saw some stats recently regarding top flight clubs loaning players out (for prolonged spells) and how very few of them end up returning to play first team football at their parent club.
Either we're not using them properly or they aren't effective in preparing players for first team games.
I can think of a couple of success
both alan and callum McGregor surely?

Even the one time Barker looked decent against us when he gave Tavs a bit of a hard time at Easter Road you could see he had absolutely no end product.
The mystifying thing is that he at least looked rapid at Hibs.
Now he has absolutely nothing about him.

I think Callum McGregor is the only success story from Celtic loaning players out. And even then that was to a club outside of Scotland.
