like the guy... no world beater but a personality every squad needs.. and, like you suggest, his energy levels are brilliant
Hes been poor recently but last night he was incredible. Was the driving force behind that comeback last night.
If he played like he did second half every week he would be a top club....inconstancy is the key word but I think he's great
Long animated discussion between him and Harrison before 2nd half kicked off. Must have worked as they linked up brilliantly.
It's hilarious how people break their backs to defend
Bamford like he's their only child. And crucify anyone having a go at him. And yet, at the same time, Alioski, Berardi, Kiko, and Klich (at times) seem to be eternal, and easy kicking posts.
Funny that.
Who's having a go at Alioski Batty? All I see is people saying he can be frustrating at times, which is true.
People defend Bamford because morons have it in for him no matter what he does, despite showing week in week out how important a role he plays
He is the ultimate enigma
Cant control a ball...will hammer an easy shot well wide...
Then a minute later has a wonder strike.
Agree, every SQUAD needs one. Would worry if you relied on his as a regular starter
When Alioski keeps his little tantrums in check he's a lot better player. He had a great game last night minus the little tantrums, unless I missed some.
Second half he was everywhere! Left back, left wing, middle, up front, even almost right back at one stage until he realised he’d got lost
He's been great last two seasons. First choice left back for me, will get caught out defensively but adds so much attacking wise that Douglas won't.

Funny thing about that is it was suggested Alioski had something against Harrison and always ignored him!..
I used to say it a lot!..
He must realise how much better his game is when he works with and not against Harrison!..

Yep that was my point exactly. Dallas is a similar type. Just good to have around and can play in a number of different positions.
I commented during the game that he has been poor the previous few games but he was back to his best earlier in the season where he was buzzing all over the place, in a good way!
Ironically the one time he was way out of position was when he contributed to giving away the penalty. That said, he just may have gotten away with his trifling fouls if Ayling hadn’t clattered the Nilwall player!
Alioski played well yesterday and was better than Harrison and Costa despite playing full back.

Outwood, completely agree
Shaun, not sure if you noticed but both played well and worked a lot together!..

I firmly believe every SQUAD needs a Messi.
Like him as a bloke but when everyone is fit wouldn't be anywhere near my starting eleven

Who is in your match day squad of 18 when all are fully fit?
Can’t go past a player, crosses rarely meet one of his own teammates, poor defensively.
However, he chips in with goals, he takes up opponents attention and he winds them up and never seems to get suspended.
Not good enough fir a top team, BUT when at top of his game (which is not often enough) he’s really effective for us.
Agree with Don.

On paper Douglas starts ahead of him at left back but in real life he's not the player we bought and in my books Alioski starts ahead of Douglas every game. I wouldn't be disappointed if Douglas left but see Gianni as our heart and soul.
Doesn't give us many options, Davis certainly isn't ready.
