As someone who still has fond memories of the Schmeichel / Cantona efficiency show, I don’t feel I can’t sit here and criticise Liverpool for any lack of entertainment.

They are a fantastic side, no question.

Next season? Wow, such a tough one to call.

Impossible to see any scenario other than City and Liverpool battling it out - other clubs just seem way off.

Can teams stop Liverpool? Absolutely. Retaining a title is hard and as the top sides regroup, you would expect Liverpool to find it harder. Throw in some difficult injuries and who knows.

But City are not exactly primed to take the title back.

Pep says he’s staying but that may not happen. Silva is off and Foden hasn’t been given a chance to develop properly. Aguero is a year older. They’ll buy a centre half but will they get it right?

I’d love United to show signs of getting back in there because I think there’s an opportunity for another club to compete next year but currently it’s hard to see past a similar finish.

I think we’ll be quite a bit worse points wise next season but a hell of a lot more entertaining.

I think once we get over the line he’s gonna go back to heavy metal football and fack everything else. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun, albeit not as successful

"Liverpool- will anyone realize the effective yet simple tactics klopp uses and just shut the full backs down and crowd the front three while offering no space?"

So you wanna defend out wide and make sure the you don't leave any gaps in the centre and it is so so easy yet every manager currently in the game finds this defensive tactic so difficult to accomplish on the field.

Show us the way oh wise one.

seriously, when you get over this need for desperate validation you'll feel better.

you seem to of missed my own damning judgement of my own side but im not surprised, you see "Liverpool" and just rage because that's how you operate.

its quite sad really that you wake up early in your work day and need to go not this forum and get so bitter and defensive but hey to each his own.

Yeh I think points wise you’re hitting heights possibly never to be repeated.

But you’re still quite entertaining - you have individuals that anyone would pay to watch.

Will be interesting to see who you look to buy.

Haha - who knows... if you do well in the CL again then you’ll attract big names.

Not sure Klopp wants that though. Not sure your wage structure would cope either.

Winston - i think Klopp will target an attacking midfielder and another centre half to replace Lovren.

He likes to only add a couple pieces here and there, is expect him to do the same again but i think they could be expensive purchases as we’ve spent nothing for a year and half by the time th end of this season comes around. I also think Keita could make way, either on loan or permanently.

It will be interesting to see if Ole is given the opportunity to continue to build his squad this summer or if he’ll be out the door. I don’t think he’s the right manager for you but at the same time he’s not doing a terrible job in terms of league position and when you factor in the injuries he’s faced this season. A good summer window and a bit of continuation and maybe he could have a good crack at getting you back into the top four next season

Yeh, it's tricky because suddenly the club is in a place where it can attract big, big names and probably afford them as well.

But Klopp has built success on relatively modest individuals and you wonder how a 'superstar' would fit into that.

But then again, the club will need to keep moving to avoid being caught and maybe that is the next step. I'm sure Klopp has thought it all through.

I think Ole will still be there. I'm not convinced he's the right man but I think whether he gets it right on the pitch or not, the squad will be in a far better place than when he started and if we needed to bring in a Poch type person then he'd be well placed to take them forward.

That said, Poch won't be available forever and I do wonder if that will influence the board's decision.

Seriously, you need to get over your fixation with ugly fat schoolgirls. They're not all like your sister and her friends.

Go out and get laid. When you lose your cherry you might 'calm down' some.

But it may be wise to go pick her up from a different trailer park, after all, you want to reduce the possibility of being related

Liverpool will find it tougher next year, no doubt. At bare minimum all big rivals will be much further along in their rebuild, this alone will make it much more competitive.
