Don, was it put up by the club or by Kane himself?

I’m not mate. Figured out Levy and the way the club operates a long time ago. Kane puts up a video coincidently a day before deadline 100% a PR stunt by the club to show we’re ok, Kane is working hard to get fit.

Wow. Club uses PR to keep restless punters happy. Shock horror! All clubs do it. How naive are you?

Name one striker who would put pressure on Kane, and how much they would cost?

Fine, buy players who aren’t as good as the ones we have. Why do you think we’ve got a whole squad of ‘squad plAyers’?

This window has been strange, we`ve brought in 2 players that are not really seen as urgent acquisitions in the grand scheme of things, a CM player and a winger.

We`ve let 2 full backs go and brought none in, have failed to bring in a striker or a out and out DM player.

All in all, glad to have some new faces but we are still poor at FB, weak at CB, weak in DM and have no focal point up front.

The ideal situation would be to get someone young and hungry who can grow into the role and potentially challenge Kane and possibly take his mantle i.e. Jesus at City or Iheanacho at Leicester. We tried this with Janssen and we decided he wasn't good enough. You keep trying until you find a good one.

Maybe we have the striker in our ranks but he is too young at moment? Isn't there some sort of app that can speed up the aging process?

Maybe, but clearly the managers do not trust him yet. You want someone maybe 21ish who would fill that gap between Kane and Parrot, where they could come in when called for and do a job and then get even better, all the while Parrot is in the coming years gets more experience, either on loan or in various appearances with us.

How am I naive. My point is the club always pull the wool over the supporters eyes with the failings in the transfer market. Every single season. They knew full well they weren’t signing a striker, just like they knew full well we were never signing Dybala. PR bulls** from Levy and Co. Same old sh**, every single season. It’s no wonder this club have won f** all.

Naive as you as dont realise this is how the world works.

It's funny with Spurs fans. Club are expected to buy a striker now to use for the rest fo the season, a loan is probably best in the short term because a long term option isnt likely to have the desired short term impact.

Last time we loaned someone fans still slag off the club as it being some sort of joke signing that cost us the title. Saha actually did pretty well and we had another 3 strikers on our books at the time.

Fact is some fans moan about anything and have unrealistic expectation. Look at Man utd. biggest club in the world with massive resources. couldn't find a striker so have loaned Ighalo.

Those wanting us to sign Cavani are deluded, suddenly people are experts about the qualities of Piatek who few actually know anything about, or want us to go out there and spend £40m on King. Yes we could do with a Llorente option or a younger option further developed than Parrott, but these are difficult players to find, esp in January as Man Ut have also just proven.
