Yep that’s what I’d like going forward starting on Weds

Who’s your front 3 with that midfield?

Winks looked very comfortable with Lo Celso alongside him. Those two could form a great partnership that ould be crucial in CL and also in the league.

Ndombele looks like a phenomenal player in the making and if he gets to last longer, I can see him become the most important player at Spurs.

Steven for me, could affect games for us on the opposite side to Son. We have two players either side who have pace, can dribble and score goals too.

With Kane to come, I think we could Spurs back to scoring freely.

Defensively, we are still a bit naive. Aurier diving in and Sanchez misplaced passes are a worry.

Though Tanganga and Toby led the way with some superbe display.

All in all, an impressive performance considering wiith beat one of the best teams in Europe, and didn't concede too.

Becoming obvious now

Exciting thing about today for me was how good Winks was defensively

Either dele as a false 9 with 2 of the 3 wingers either side or all 3 of the wingers interchanging

Winks/GLC/Ndombele/Sissoko/Gedson - that’s looking a lot healthier in the middle.

Very true but the individual performances were generally good

Actually, two of their best shots on the Tottenham goal were by Tottenham players, headers in the last 5 mins, one of which was a screamer that hit the cross bar with Lloris well beaten, I think by Winks..

I am not a great lover of Winks, think he can definitely be upgraded, but he gets my support whilst he is on the pitch, and he had a great run for the sending off yesterday.

Didn't Tanganga and Lloris mess up second half in one comical moment, then Toby passed the ball straight to a City player, who should have scored. See we can all pick out players errors.

They only had five shots on target, to Spurs three.

Not looking at individual incidents which every game is marred with, but consistent errors and those who look very vulnerable at every attack against us and look susceptible to make an error. Toby abs Tanganga looked the least likely to make these errors whereas Aurier or Sanchez looked more likely?
In fact that header into the crossbar was from Sanchez.

What consistent errors, Sanchez made one big one, Toby and Tanganga also made one big one each. Other than that all three, were excellent.

Alderweireld didn't "pass the ball straight to a City player." He was clearing Aguero's shot off the line.

Sanchez, however, did pass the ball straight to a City player which led to them hitting the post. He also headed the ball against his own bar under next to no pressure.

Tanganga and Lloris colliding was pretty much entirely Lloris' fault.

Overall i think we defended OK. Their wide players were not that influential. KDB was also quieter than usual. There were a few errors at the back but we generally defended balls into the box really well.

Their best chances came from a poor Sanchez pass and a collision between Lloris & Tanganga, and then Aurier's mad moment (although Aguero made so much of that little contact and then lay on the floor for 90 secs when he hadnt been hurt whatsoever).

If you rule out those really quite poor errors by us, then I cannot remember too many really good chances they had other than Aguero missing near post.

Nope, they hardly peppered our goal. I don`t get quite where all these supposed missed chances came from. I never counted to many and that included the penalty and the striking of the post.

One of our supporters said City had about 20 good chances. He shall remain nameless. I don`t want to embarrass him.
