well, I'm just really glad we've not been overly dramatic in the slightest here
----------------------------------------------------------------------
God forbid anyone on here ever overreact to anything!
we need a goalscorer now not in a couple of months time and seen nothing in the opening 45mins to suggest he is the man.looked to be at least 2 stone overweight and didnt do much or even attempt to do much
Same old numptys thinking everything in the garden is rosy, for god's sake get real, clubs run by cheapskate idiots and a renowned failed manager. No chance of promotion.
Signing might not work out. That's the risk. However if it doesn't work out then the confirmation of that is not going to be 45inutes against the Sheff Wed youth team. Obviously.

Firstly, hope the injury is nothing serious.
Second, we're not going to see this guy feature for a month, unless we get very desperate because he's so far behind the fitness levels of any of the first team.
Getting a deal sorted for the first few days of the window, like most of us wanted, could have saved us being in this position, but if we had got sorted in the summer with two strikers who fit the system, then we'd probably be 30 points clear now.
Club have ended up spending 5 times the amount on failed loans, when we could have kept Roofe and paid him the going rate.
Poor management and nothing else. If we fail this season, the good faith of fans flocking back to ER, will be gone.

Bang on, problems go back to recruiting bamford on high wages (not Bamfords fault).

Sounds like Thomas Brolin Mark 2.....Well done Leeds, Nice one Victor, another gem, really optimistic about our chance now!

what a silly comment
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I hope you're right and it's a knee jerk reaction but when you read dozens of eye witness reports of his obvious lack of fitness and poor performance then it doesn't exactly fill you with optimism.

It's a good job that all those eyes witnesses are level headed and not at all reactionary individuals, right?
I've not seen him or the game due to work.
However if he was/is that unfit that he was "2 stone over weight" as is being claimed here then the person who passed him for his medical needs shooting
Matty
He looked like it was his first day of preseason 👀👀👀

Minus the promotion part, spot on. We have a chance of promotion, but from top to bottom, we're run by cronies. Why o why is he playing in an under 23 game.

Right, sorry Monaco...
What you all whining about...
He will be Bielsa fit by May...
Again, I'm going on what others are telling me but.
If he is that unfit and he gets in the squad before edmondson then if I was that lad I'd be barging down the door and very forcibly making my point that you let this sack of lard in the team but have frozen me out, despite the fact I'm scoring regular in the reserves for exactly the same thing
My mate said the other day said imagine the playoff semi final and we need a goal to save our season. Free kick in the dying seconds and up steps Izzy..... Augustin. He could be right!
What’s this about? Busy day at work and come to this
Has he really had a cheese burger too many?
I don’t see how he can be that unfit. Or over weight. If he is then he’s given up on his career. I get that he might not be match fit. But he should be in top shape and fitness. No excuse for not being.
If he is as overweight as being suggested it’s madness that we have signed him.
Will wait until I see him against Forest myself before making a judgement though.

Completed 3 cup games as well as his 260 minutes of league action.
Didn't watch the U23s so can't comment on his fitness. But I'd be shocked if he wasn't on the bench against Forest, crying out for a striker to replace Bamford on Saturday as we were against Sheff Wed and QPR. How many points would we have won in January if we still had Eddie to come off the bench?
Yep started 2 league games, rest were sub... only goal was in the french league cup. You’d kind of hope he was ‘fit’ if he was in the bench... maybe he just enjoyed Christmas, maybe we now know why Monaco didn’t seem too disappointed to say goodbye... Maybe we need to try to show some patience given we don’t have much choice in the matter
It is early days but perhaps Bielsa loves Bamford that much he wanted an option that enabled him to play Bamford every week......
The solution to our woeful form and chance conversion lies within......
