The League is not over. The points gap is now a bit bigger. But the excitement is ramping up I’d say. All dropped points is a huge talking point.
Gers result last night is a prime example. Every game is crucial still. It surely can’t be argued the Celtic result is impressive. Nobody gets a 5-0 by accident. Granted Hearts are floundering a bit as promoted fodder with an inexperienced manager. Celtic can go on and win this. 9IAR, what an achievement if we do it.
Interest as far as Rangers are concerned must be wearing a bit thin. It looks possible they will end without a trophy and the challenge is now questionable. Their fans will demand more.
I think Gerrard’s willingness to openly criticise his players in interview is the root of why he’s losing his dressing room and some fans. Sure, the team want results too, but will they try as hard when SG tells them they’re not trying? I don’t think so.
Great player. Sh#t manager. There is no certainty in a treble. Rangers need to find that fight they had earlier in the season pronto for a challenge now. It’s Celtic’s to lose and the momentum is with us now.
When Gers had W Smith he would always praise and protect his players. Even on a bad day. How often do we hear Lennon tell us all how proud he was of a player we all ripped to bits during the game because he was having a shocker? Ronny did this too and so did Strachan. Those Managers protected their teams while Gerrard will not do that.

Its very clear that few Celtic supporters have listened to any interview hes given after a Rangers win. They'd see that he rarely takes credit himself and always praises the players. I'm du g in now on the SG defence I think now.

From an outsiders point of view, Rangers have improved under Gerrard. Doing better in Europe, and maintaining a challenge at the top. He’s won at Celtic park and Ibrox against Celtic, and I don’t think they’ve conceded more than 2 goals in any 1 game against anybody?!
He has been given a lot of backing in terms of transfer fees and especially wages-I don’t think it’s commented much on, but I’m sure I’ve read he’s on a similar annual wage to Rodgers?! No idea how true that is.
He just can’t get over that final hurdle it seems.
If he wins the Scottish cup, then I think he gets next season. If he doesn’t, then that’s a problem for him and the rangers board.
