Not looking great for Grabban unfortunately. Can’t see us winning as West Brom are looking too good. If we could get a point that would be good

Strangely enough I am more confident against WBA than I was against Charlton, for some obscure reason we can’t seem to figure out the lower placed clubs. WBA will be under more pressure than us, and a bit like Brentford and Leeds in midweek, both sides may we’ll settle for a point if there aren’t any early goals. Our problem may well be scoring goals, especially if Grabban doesn’t make it, Da Costa also looks to be missing, which puts the onus onto Lolley. I’d be more than happy with a point, but again the manner of the performance may be more important in the long run than the result, especially after Tuesdays inept display. My prediction 1-1.

Grabban had been looking jaded and in need of a rest, he did have a strapping on one knee I noticed in the Leeds match.
It will be a big call for young Walker if he starts the game but perhaps Sabri is bluffing?

Bluffing? What just like with the line up against Charlton

Morning REV, like you I am still very disappointed with events on Tuesday. Not so much the actual performance but the fact it was so unnecessary. If players are injured, fair enough; but Cash and Ribeiro are probably our fittest players. They should have played. We needed to pick the strongest team possible for the remaining games.

Anyway all is not lost. Had we won on Tuesday and lost today, I would be happy with that. So a win today and the damage is fixed. Trouble is I can't see us winning today. WBA have got their train back on the rails and looking strong.

A draw today will be a good result and keep us in line for the playoffs.

Red Totally agree, but as you say putting us this position was just so unnecessary

Lamouchi fully admitted it was a mistake to make the changes so let’s hope he learns from it. I can’t see any scenario where we win today but maybe we can scrape a draw. If we lose and drop out of play offs there’s a danger we keep on dropping because it is relentless and there are many other teams around us, some who properly strengthened in the transfer window. We went for cheap additions who haven’t added any quality. Only good move was getting Walker back

That Huddersfield lad looks totally and utterly inept - typical cheap and pointless option

He’s quick but lacks an end product. I’m sure the coach can improve him and he put in a good cross that Walker should have scored from. But I think we should have gone for players who are ready now. Still think we should have gone all out for Murray even if it meant an 18 month contract. But we don’t know what the finances can cope with.

What can you expect if he has been on 'Udders bench all season.

But Uncle Albert had the chance to go to Cardiff and start games so we had to bring in someone. Hopefully we don't need him to start many games. In the meantime make him play for the 23s to gain some fitness.

I don’t think Grabban will be a huge miss.

If we have everyone back but him then I think we can win this. West Btom are only just out of a huge slump.

Other than the mistake with the fullbacks by Sabri, then Sabri’s the one who got us here. I back him to get us back on track.

Agree; Grabban will be a miss but not a hugh miss. But a big chance for Walker to prove he can do it at this level.

Tuesday was a big mistake and one he shouldn't haven't made having made the same mistake against Wigan and Milwall.

Today should be the team that beat Leeds except for the striker probably

Guess we’ll find out where we really are now as a team, hopefully same kind of performance as v Leeds. I’d still be happy with a point, though remember back to previous games at the Hawthorns where we have faired quite well, obviously Raddi’s wonder strike springs to mind, one of them from Joe would do very nicely.😁

I think West Brom will win this division so today is the biggest test.

If we get anything it will be a big plus; a defeat and the pressure on next week's game will be immense.

Next 2 home games have the potential to be horrible, QPR and Millwall, but let’s worry about them later.
One game at a time, springs to mind, something I think both us on Tuesday and Leeds last week forgot about.

Lets hope Grabban isn't carrying a knock, because I wouldn't risk him in this game if he is.

As Hodgie is saying Sabri should have played a stronger team last week, but hey ho.

Almost certain we will lose this game. No shame in that, WBA just too good. That’s why we have to beat Charlton at home.

Still, it’s football so there is always hope. We have been lucky this season at times so you never know.

I feel more confident about playing WBA away than I did facing Leeds at home - yes they’re good, but if we’re totially on our game, no reason we couldn’t get a result today

The fact that we’ve got the same team that faced Leeds, kinds suggests that the mangers comments about having injuries on Tuesday, was something of a smokescreen 🤔
