352 formation has certainly added renewed vigour to our season so I will go with that, I can see a 433 away to Copenhagen and if all good back to 352 at home?

Rogic to me is the biggest loser in this set up, who does he come in for?

TBH I think the best team for that formation is what Lennon already picks. Ntcham is there on merit ahead of Christie and Rogic. Taylor at LB. Where I mostly differ from Lennon is on subs. Additionally, if all fit I would have Elhamed on the right and maybe keep Simunovic ahead of Ajer on form and being aggressive. Jullien and Ajer are too soft. Difficult but that's Lennon's problem, thankfully and not mine

With TR repeatedly subbed anytime after the hour under successive managers mark I think his impact is as a sub, not a starter?

Im not sure about Ntcham over Christie ? Ryan had been one of our best players this season before the break.I think Christie is a bigger goal threat and provides much more energy to the side, but then Ntcham is technically more gifted and physically stronger ,good problem for the manager to have
I agree with your defensive setup , i like big Simunovic hes the best defender out of the 3 CHs and he is another threat in the air in the oppositions box ,that gives us 2 that can head a ball in the team now
I would also like Ely in the team as hes one of the best players we have, but where does he fit??

Might add I think Christie has been a bit off form since about November, whereas Ntcham has come to the fore. Simunovic would be fantastic if it wasn't for his brain farts

Yeah good point Silver but I see Christie coming on for Ntcham first 🤔 Anyway good to see Frimpong back training along with El Ham and Bitton. Hopefully we get the chance to see Sorro at some point as well, apparently he is training well?

We won't score as many goals with a 451 imo, Eddy plays WAY better in a 2, he is able to drift along the front line and utilise his all round game.

352 will be used for the majority of games until we either lose one or two or we play a better side than we currently do, I'm not against mixing the shape up however, teams will train all week for one shape and if we throw another at them they'd be confused

Team finishing fifth in the EPL is now guaranteed a spot in the CL, what a joke, surely the EPL are as complicit as Man City?

Christie or Ntcham ?

Is that a rhetorical question?

For those wee Scottish Ned's

Christie was absolutely stinking in his last 7 games before his injury.
, Two of which he featured against rangers

Have we ever been able to say this about Ntcham?

The way i see it with 352 then most pick themselves apart from a few

Forster

Jozo
Julien
Ajer/ElHamed

Forrest
Broony
Calmac
Ntcham/Christie/Ely/Rogic
Taylor/Boli

Griff
Eddy

or with 4321

Forster

ElHamed/Frimpong
Julien
Jozo/Ajer
Taylor/Boli

Broony
Calmac

Forrest
Christie/Ntcham
Ely

Eddy

biggest issue for me is finding a place for Ely in 352 as hes top quality

Absolutely yes most of last season when he was in the huff after Dembele left he was generally utter pash and would have been the same this season had Lenny to his credit not sorted it out.Dont remember Christie being poor for 7 games on the trot though ??

Oh dear timmy. Too many sugar puffs the night?
N'tcham has benefitted from a run in the team where 2 forwards are looking and moving to take a pass. Christie does tackle tough. Easy enough to improve. Cooler on the ba' like young MacGregor but.
