Highly doubt UEFA would come down as hard as they have without compelling evidence that would stand up in the CAS.
If the evidence is confirming that which was released by Football leaks that is a proper serious breach not only of the rules but of systemic cover up that goes all the way to the top.

I dont have a reason to doubt Football leaks as it is not something they would just make up, and of course city saying the comms were hacked/stolen.

While the bloke that did the hacking is banged up, it doesnt have any bearing on the actions of man city that went on to manoeuvre around FFP.

And isn't there always a body to regulate sport, be it golf, tennis etc. In this case its Uefa and you agree to play under them.

Guess the old guard would also include 7 times European cup winners AC Milan who were also sanctioned by UEFA.

"proper court" wtf.. its UEFA setting out the rules as to the code of conduct for teams participating in its competition.. that all teams sign up to and therefore accept jurisdiction from UEFA on.

That "protecting old guard" argument is as flimsy as "you only won because everyone else was crap"

Well I didn’t agree to play u see any of them! As I say, Ill wait to see the court of arbitration for sport verdict and happy to accept any decision they make

Yes, I’ll say exactly that. Ultimately, as long as I’ve got a team to support and watch with my son, then that’s all that counts. This last ten years has made me realise even more that trophies aren’t the be all and end all. There’s an awful lot of me that misses the championship!
