I'm not saying you shouldn't have a top 5 to get CL, but with the way things were going I was looking forward to being in the top 4 race with Chelsea. If it ends up a top 5 race then the excitement is gone because I'd now be almost 95 % sure we'd achieve it.
Having said that it does give Sheffield United more chance, so I'll be rooting for them.

This season has been the worst ever. The general football from 99% of the teams have been of a standard lower than usual.
It's like in a kingdom of blind, the one eyed man rules - sums up the season really
Watched the game. Here is my view.
Villa played very well in the first 20 mins- could ha be scored a couple and being the home team tried to force the issue. But even then Spurs had a couple of moments where you could see the Villa defence was there for the taking.
After that first 20/25 min spell Spurs finally woke up and were the better team and had many many chances which more often than not Alli and Son conspired to miss between them.
Villa got a lot of people behind the ball but as the second half came to an end, Villa tired and Spurs eventually got what they deserved. It wasn’t an amazing performance but very few teams create as much as that in a game and when Kane is back he’ll have a field day
