I've agreed to do the west Highland way quinn. Will get some advice later in the year if you don't mind.

Fell asleep pashed on Connie Hill once then stumbled down to Balmaha at 5am and lit a fire on the beach.
Might be more sensible this time and plan it. Maybe even bring things other than voddie.

Good for you mate - no the Conic thing tho.

Plenty of online advice but have a chat we next meet or on here.

Key about any walking is footwear.

Skimp on jackets, tents & kerry oots.

Feet stuff is non negotiable.

Long distance paths are all gentrified now.

Lads like 'Rabbies Trail' will carry your heavy gear for you.

Will carry your grub and swally anaw.

Not like that in my day..

You can now overnight indoors for each night.

Bluebell the outdoors is like a legal drug.

That's why alc & drug rehab, as well as delinquent kids support groups,

use it so much as therapy. Puts stuff into perspective & allows you to

self reflect. The grandeur of the landscape reminds you how relatively

trivial your 'problems' are, and recharges the soul.
