Sigh, you still don't get it. I know you would like to blame the queuing on Brexit but it was not in this case.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t tell me, tell the stupid Brexiters who don’t know what they voted for. I don’t give a sh*t if they have to queue for WEEKS.

Ha ha look at all the bitter Remainers on here.

'Not the Brexit I voted for'.

An insight into what it will be like when the new arrangements kick in and people get what they voted for.

I blame the immigrants who wanted to move to a racist country for Brexit. They did this.

I understand that some people would find it funny. Especially if they were not aware of the actual reason for the queue.

Its funny if you are aware of the reasons for the queue.

The complete lack of awareness in more than one aspect is what makes it amusing.

Sure it's going to be a pain in the arris. My brother flies a lot due to work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone that travels to places outside the EU now no what a pain it is. I go out to Turkey a fair bit for work and its brutal going through customs. The new airport over there has made things slightly better but an hour is still the norm.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Extend this to goods, capital, and services, (plus new customs declarations) which gives you an idea how damaging and disruptive things will be in the future.

But the actual reason means nothing in the context of the tweet and him being angry about something that will become the norm in the future, whatever the reason is now....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And what travelers to the UK will expect when coming from the EU.

Unless the current system is not changed, as part of some deal...to reduce expense and disruption not just in the UK but all over europe.

Absolutely.

The government (despite widespread industry objections) plan to implement a points based system. Which will make it much more difficult for UK businesses to recruit the staff they need from the EU.

Work visas will only be awarded to those who gain enough points to take them above a certain threshold. This process will be time consuming and lead to even more skills shortages throughout the country.

the immigratoin points system is not something I mentioned in my posts. But fully agree.

Doesn't make a skills shortage in australia, using a country that operate this as an example.

My understanding is that nothing has changed, passports are still EU until 31st December 2020. There should be no difference when travelling, you still go in the EU queues.

Freedom of movement won’t change till then at the earliest. Even now you have your passport checked out of the UK and into mainland Europe. Hardly free movement.
