2. Said I'd comment on the Jim McLean play I was at last night's premiere.

It was alright. Not a great fan of theatre. What I can say is Dundee Rep is as uncomfortable to sit in as Tannadice but good views from every seat. Quite a few guys with DU jackets like it was important folk knew they were fans or something?

It's a 2 man show and I still don't know who or what the other guy is supposed to be. A ghost? An ex-player? A journo?

It is just over an hour though my mate still managed to sleep through about 20min of it. The 2 guys can act OK and there's a passing resemblance to McLean but he doesn't quite capture the anger that only McLean could. The premise is he doesn't want to be remembered just for gubbing a journalist on live TV. One ex-player features repeatedly. That isn't a spoiler.

Some cheers from the audience for a mild pops at Dundee and a couple at Rangers. It would probably have benefited from a few more actors involved. It was like two monologues.

Anyway I'll give it 3/5. Probably only a 2 but it will mean more to those of a tangerine persuasion and who like theatre hence the extra point. Doubt it would sell outside Dundee?

I live in hope.We have been "better" in Europe, I think cos teams don't shut up shop so much and we get the space to move the ball.
Maybe they've been watching us though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since Gerrards arrival we haven`t lost in 14 European games and only conceded 4 or 5 goals? Thats quite decent, keep the faith

I don't even see them as people. Like anyone from Dundee or Aberdeen or any other made-up 'city' in Scotland.

They're basically animals who've learned to walk on their hind trotters.
