I'm not generally a fan of taking big clubs' aging rejects, but Lallana is a player who could add experience in a range of attacking positions.
I suspect he'd be brought in as competition for places rather than for an automatic starting berth.
As above, he would be ideal to bulk up the squad. Cannot see Maddison leaving just yet, new deal has been in the pipe line for a while, so they say.
To be fair with Lallana, I think it was more injury than age and regression of quality. I think he has that creativity from outwide and cutting in that we would be looking to add to in our squad but definitely agree this should be an ‘as well as’ signing

On Lallana, I always thought he wasn’t good enough for Liverpool (despite my Everton brother in law claiming he was better than Coutinho in their earlier Liverpool days - double lol), I do think he’s more than better than Perez if he can stay on his feet for more than 3 minutes and his injury problems aren’t ongoing.
If he can get back to his best form, he’ll be a very good addition for a club of our ambition.
Won’t his wages be an issue though?

I think he's a very good player. One of the most underrated in the PL in fact.
