Fury has indeed done remarkable things in boxing. His openness about his MH struggles is to be applauded and that is something close to my heart. But I can't overlook some of his comments which for a supposed man of God are pretty outrageous. Most of us are flawed in some way but that shouldn't be a licence to be obnoxious.

yawn yet you won't tell anyone what these recent comments are

typical leeds fan trying to start something out of nothing because fury is a man united fan

His "mental health" troubles were all a big facade. He was banned from boxing for 2 years for testing positive for Nandrolone. Let's not forget that. His mental health and "downward spiral" conveniently appeared around this time as well. Alongside UKAD being unable to say anything about Fury's case in public, this mental health smokescreen was put to very good use by Fury and his family.

I don't doubt his boxing ability though but getting very tired of him and his fans rinsing the mental health card.

Mental health is a real issue that isn't going to be helped by people declaring "it's all a façade". There may well be people who make more of their own problems than is necessary but I genuinely believe Fury was suffering, hence the weight gain, drink and drugs problem, and stuff he was saying around that time.

no one is saying that mental health isnt a real issue. What has been suggested and has been done in the past with other sportsmen is that it can be a tool used to paper over things.

Now I aint saying that Fury didnt suffer from depression he does seem like a very volatile person and IMO does show some symptoms of mental health issues such as Bipolar.

However it doesnt mean that I am that niave to think that there is a very good chance that the mental health issue was a cover up to silence governing bodies from reporting about his "drug ban". In this scenario a mental health issue would prohibit a governing body being able to disclose of publicise someone from failing a drug test and serving a ban.

Fury got busted taking a banned substance first. Then what might have followed could have been the MH issues but since his return its all about how he came back from his MH issue while taking banned substances have been brushed under the carpet.

I'm sure those who complain about Fury's misdemeanours being brushed under the carpet in the media will happily say the same with regards to AJ.
