Fantastic player and did a great job for Dortmund in that Champions League final. Kept a genuine Portuguese legend out of the team.
I think we can all ignore his cup win with St Mirren though.
was doing well at Norwich n didn't make the grade at Villa n it's went downhill since
player and a half man.
him and lennon in the centre with petrov in front.
Larsson and Sutton up top
amazing
Still don't forgive the new year goal.

Great player but he was an ugly bastirt.
Wolves were rubbish for years only good now with a bit a money behind them
aye as soon as the manager leaves wolves are screwed again lets be honest.

Got away with a blatant red when he dived in on Albertz
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think he got a concussion and lost a few teeth out of it though. Shouldn't have been subbed red all day.
On a serious note though quality player hard to imagine making the jump from st mirren to Dortmund and being a key player.
Why the op? Something happened to him or has he just been sacked again?

⭐️ Are you ready with your comeback? 😂
Actually think it was Motherwell he left for Dortmund, still worlds apart some jump in class
Lambert & Larsson left Celtic at the same time. Obviously Larsson got all the media attention but Lambert was a huge part of that successful team.
And he only scored world class goals.
Could keep hold of a beach ball in a hurricane.
Wonderful footballer.

We had money and the same owners when Lambert was manager. He chose to play players like Andreas Weimann ahead of Ivan Cavaleiro and Helder Costa.
When we were struggling under him, he refused to play Romain Saiss because he had gone to the African Cup of Nations with Morocco earlier in the season; despite us having obvious deficiencies in midfield. Saiss then became a key member of Nuno's team.
The guy was an absolute when he managed us. A lot of the players hated him and it regularly came across that he would pick some players ahead of others because of their nationality.
I also know Marc Albrighton and Paul Lambert was the main reason he left Villa, the club he had supported since he was a kid.
it's unfortunate for lambert that he would never get in the greatest all time celtic team because brown will keep him out of it.
He picked Saville ahead of Cavaleiro on the wing for feck sake
The minute he walked into our club he had decided he was going to single out some of the foreign players, he said as much in his first few interviews.

Well done on being the first person to mention Saville on this board and not be accused of cheap point scoring

No. That one took my surprise and I've had to think seriously about it.
I'd say he's just an ordinary bloke that you wouldn't look twice at in the street. Not particular handsome and not an ugly bastirt either.
Just my opinion of course. I just think of him as a very good footballer. If others want to think of him in seckshual terms that's up to them.
